I recently bought Mortal Kombat 4 for N64 and I have to say its definitely more solid in terms of graphics. Nothing close to what is seen today of course lol. Very Happy
But if you really want MK4 and have an N64, go with that. No load times too. Wink

I also just purchased Mortal Kombat Trilogy for PS1 to play on my PS2.
Im still wondering wether it will have less load times or not, cosidering the hardware runs faster. Confused

*EDIT* oops... didnt know this was a dead topic. Why is it so wrong to continue such a topic when its still an interest amongst newbies like me? Wouldnt this be considered better than actually creating a new topic with the same subject matter? Wink

If a topic is dead, then it means there was nothing left to contribute, and so if you had something to say, make a new topic, simple as that.

And to the topic, seems how it got necro posted, I prefered it for PS1, due to I am a PS follower

Well, for one thing, there are no rules that forbid reviving old topics. (Trust me, I've read thru the rules, and I know what I'm talking about.) If anything, it actually makes more sense to bring an old topic back into the light, rather than litter the forum with copious new threads that basically carry on the exact same topic.

At any rate, I remember my days of playing MK4 on the N64. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, some of the fatalities in MK4 could still be considered by many as being the best there had ever been! (Like Quan Chi's fatality where he rips off his opponent's leg and starts beating them down on the floor with it.)

To be honest, I've never tried the PS or PC versions, but then I'd much prefer to play without the loading times. That, and from what I've heard/read in the past, the N64 version was, in fact, the better of all 3 versions. I can tell you, however, (this is actually a little embarassing for me to say, but...) the GBC version is a complete waste of time (and money). Goodness knows why I went for it in the first place, but let's just say this: I'm WAY more than glad to be rid of it!
