Well we cannot be sure if Scorpion will be killed off after reading the article on what Boon said that he might not take out Sub-Zero and Scorpion in the next gen MK. But who knows anything can happen in MKAr.

Scorpion should just be put to rest. Maybe give him a really touching ending where he gets back his memories and reunites with his wife and child in the heavens. ...But they could make it so that he can come back if the MK team needs to.

Even if they said that his soul was destoryed with no pieces left they would still loophole him back if needed. "Oh, that was clone!" "OH! That was his younger brother!" "OH! That was only the good/evil half of him!" So on and so forth.

Alright, firstoff, even if scorpion DID lose his respawning ninja spectre (not"spector" and i would know because he has been my favorite character since i can remember anything,being as young as i am) immortality, he wouldn't be in any danger anyway because, well--HES SCORPION official badass of the netherrealm. Second: He killed the original sub-zero leaving his brother to mourn him and assume the Lin Kuei title so that kind of proves it. Thirdly: If you read his bio which would be part of the storyline because it does not negate anything and it is truth, he is the new champion of the elder gods( not that piss-drinking Liu Kang wannabe Shujinko). Lastly, read the pre-10th mortal kombat novel by jeff rovin to sort this out yourself!
