Well, they can always fill the actual training part with backstory and give the free-roaming part with fun and action.

Overall, I was very pleased with MK Deception. It was better than Deadly Alliance in my opinion. I'll agree that it was a bit short in the fighting mode, but it was still fun. The only thing that could've made it better for me would've been Kitana being a part of it, even if she was posessed. I didn't like trying to pull off those crazy kombos that seemed so long in Konquest mode sometimes. However, Deception delivered a lot and of the 3D MK games, is probably the best to date. MK4 and MKDA are great as well, but 4 was too easy and DA made some of the characters look too old (ex. Sonya, I was disappointed with her physical appearance, although her outfit was cool). I know that's what they were going for, but still. I'm anticipating Armageddon because I think it'll actually top Deception.

i personally loved deception.it was more than i thought it would be.i thought it would be like mkda but with a few new characters..but it went beyond that..it evolved many characters and they look awesome..they brung back enough good characters and some new cool ones.the konquest was a blast and still is to play over and over.right now, deception is my favorite mortal kombat till mka comes out.

I disagree. The konquest mode in Deadly Alliance offerred WAY MORE information about the fighters.

I mostly preferred it due to the fact that it wasn't nearly as boring or repetitive. MKDA's konquest was just performing moves and combinations, some of which were really annoying to perform (ie Frost's 12 or 14 button combo at the end).

While DA did have information offered for each character as well, I found I missed 99% of it because I just kept pressing A until it got to where I was to perform the moves. The blips of information in between moves seemed really insignificant until I looked them up online.

I really liked MK : D. IU thought that they did a very good job on it and even though people were complaining about missing content and problems with the games, I still very much enjoyed it and play it everyday.
