After reading the interview posted on ign regarding MK Armageddon, I was under the impression that this will be the final installment of Mortal Kombat.
However, it could also be that this is the final MK with the old characters (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, and everyone else seen in prior MK games).
Can someone help me out? Is MKA to be the final Mortal Kombat game of all, or simply the last to include any characters from MK1 to this game?

MKA is the last game for THESE consles. (PS2, X-Crap, Lunch Cube) And yes, MKA will be the game that kills off A LOT of the MK Charcters for good.

Alright, because if this was to be the end of the MK gaming franchise (with the exceptions of crapily made ad-on versions like MK Advance) then I would be pissed off. MK's gotten back on its feet and if it should end now, it would be a shame.
But if 'most' of the characters are going to die off for good and there will be more games for the next gen systems, that's alright.

I read on that on IGN as well...this is the last MK game for ever! i think...I'm pretty sure though
