Mabey Chameleon IS in it but his story is so top secret Midway won't say. He might be the One being or somethin glike that, although I know him being the One Being is impossible, but something big like that...

If I remember correctly, Khameleon did have a storyline unlike her male counterpart Chameleon. So I don't see how she couldn't be considered a real character. Yeh, they'd have to do some work for her and Chameleon, but they said every character... so they should include them all even the hidden ones such as those 2 and Meat. I think the 3 of them have much more purpose than that stupid Mokap dude.

Any character that 'doesn't have a story' can easily be given one. Ed Boon and the rest of the MKTeam are storytellers and they've provided us, the MK fans, with an incredible epic tale and done historical backdrops for 60+ characters.
To give Chamelion a story (Khameleon already had a story bio in MKT) would not be that difficult. Perhaps Kahn created a ninja with the powers of all 7 great ninjas, or he could be a Raptor like Repitle and Khameleon. I have no idea, but anything is possible with Mortal Kombat.
I will be very disappointed if Chamelion is not in MK -AR. Same goes for Khameleon. Even if you can't play as them, as long as they acknowledge both of them as characters in MK's universe and place them in the game somewhere, I'll be happy.

I just wanted to post an update. For those who figured Khameleon wasn't a 'real' character and would most likely not be present, here's a screenshot taken from Reptile's character card in MK Deception:
Note that she is listed as one of Reptile's allies. I think this hints to us that she has not been forgotten and perhaps will make an appearance in MK -AR.
As for Chamelion, I have no idea. I'd like to see him in there SOMEWHERE, but I don't know considering he wasn't given any story...

I got the Special Edition of Mortal Kombat Deception that came with the bonus disc and playable MKI game. The bonus disc has a lot more character cards.
