Post subject: Konquest: Beating Johnny Cage |

Can anyone suggest a 12hit combo I can perform for beating Johnny Cage in Outworld H-8? I've tried using various pop-ups and style branching combos for a few different characters (Scorpion, Sub-zero, Lui Kang, Kira, Ashrah, Bo Rai Cho, Sindel) but the most I've landed was a 9-hit combo. ANy suggestions?
PS. Is there any decent reward for beating him? Like a krypt key or moves for Shujinko?

Note: PS2 Controls is what Im gonna put here
For Sub-Zero I do this S,S,S,X,L1 then quickly switch to Kori Blade style then Back+Triangle 1 time then quickly switch to Shotokan then do S,T,O,L1,T,L1.

Scorpion Switch to his Mugai Ryu sword, then juggle the opponent 2 times with either Forward+S or Forward+T, quickly change to Hapkido then do his long combo T,T,L1,S,X,L1
And here's my favorite. Jade.
Switch to Bojutsu staff T,X. Then change to her Fan Zi and press T,T,S,L1,O,L1,S,Up+O(or Up+X).

Nothing big, just some random Koins once the mission is komplete. that's all, and again I hope those combos I listed down helps.

he's one of the characters that is really easy to beat in conquest mode(mkd).to defeat him just keep hitin him with ur weapon and dont let him get up.

Konquest mode in deception never rewarded you with anything big by helping people besides in the main story line, and that didn't reward anything big either. The real only way to unlock good things like characters, movies, or even alternate costumes mostly required looking for chests. So in Deception, konquest isn't the most significant way to unlock things, it was just chests. When I first got MKD and I saw Shang Tsung in the Netherrealm, I thought just because he was so hard (you'd lose life while he gained life) that it would be something significant, like unlocking Liu Kang. But, it wasn't. In Armageddon, they should have numerous ways of unlocking people, like even i njust plain old arcade mode.

if you dont have all the moves for shujinko you should check this site,it tells you alot in detail about the konquest.

Yeah old topic but i need help as of right now the last training i did was with Lei mei so does anyone know how i can do a 12 combo with her to beat johhny cage thanks.

Meh lol now that i've got the main part of konquest beaten now my shujinko turns into any random one so if he turns into jade i'll use smiley's combo for her sure you only get koins if u do it but it's still good.

Here's another idea, but this kombo is good only if u end up with Scorpion. Follow along with the PS2 controls. Use the Bloody Spear special move, then follow up with the Burning Soul Combo (Triangle, X, UP+Circle). Follow with the Lift Kick again (Up+Circle). Then use the Hell On Earth combo (Triangle, Triangle, L1, Square, X, X, L1). You should end up with at least 13 hits if you land it right. This is the kombo I use all the time in Arcade mode, and Chess Kombat. This also includes areas of the Konquest I use Scorpion to fight warriors.
