lately i've been hearin' (at some other furoms i've joined) that in MKA sub-zero is transformed into a robot (like smoke). From word of mouth, his first costume is gonna be normal subby and alt is gonna be the robot...
im not sure if this is ture, but if any of ya wanna comment on it, feel free to do so...

Where have you heard this rumor from? It doesn't seem right that they would turn Sub-Zero into a robot because he was against it when he became the Grand Master of the Lin Kuei (Hence why he fled the klan the first time).

Its pure fake rumor bull. Sub-Zero aint ganna be a robot. And if he did, wouldnt it make more sense to have his ROBOT outfit his FIRST one, not second? Its a total lie.

There's no one left that would want to turn anyone into a robot. Sub-Zero reformed the Lin Kuei, and trashed their old ways. That rumor is total crap.

And besides Sub-Zero would rather die than become a soulless cyber ninja. Good thing Sub-Zero banned the cyberninja program in the Lin Kuei after what happened before when Sektor killed the Lin Kuei GM.

Now hold on a minute lusty gentlemen, let's not get excited here.
Albeit, I personally believe this as a rumor, this may have some merit. The reason I say that is simply because the MKTeam has been known to produce some...interesting, suprises for us, the loyal MK fans, in the past. And while having a cybernetic body as an alternate costume for Sub-Zero seems unlikely, it's not impossible.
I know I wouldn't mind seeing it in the game. It's possible the MKTeam might do this for fun, considering he's practically the only Lin Kuei member (excluding MK-Mythologies ones) we haven't seen turned into a cyborg, so they might do this for fun.
For now, I'll say it's a rumor, but I won't completly dismiss it.
Also, with Kreate-A-Kombatant, you could potentially kreate a cybornetic Sub-Zero.

What about Frost and Rain... they are Lin Kuei.
ANyway, yeah, that's total crap. Sub-Zero made sure that the whole Cyborg ninja thing was destroyed. It wont happen. But if, by some chance of surprise, there will be a lot more offended and irritated MK fans... myself included.

And I don't know if I'd consider Frost a legitimate Lin Kuei member. She kind of just came upon Sub-Zero and the others from no where, while possessing similar powers to Sub-Zero. But I don't believe she was a member of the Lin Kuei clan.
And Rain is an Edenian, his father was killed by Shao Kahn's execution squads, and he decided to join Kahn rather than succumb to the same fate as his father. He still is alligned to Shao Kahn, according to Konquest mode in MK Deception.

Sub-Zero was not able to teach her humility, however, and her arrogance grew along with her superior fighting abilities.
So I think Frost IS Lin Kuei member.

While she was taken in to be trained, she never was fully trained and integrated into the clan. Yes she would have been (assuming she never betrayed Sub-Zero), but instead she turned on her mentor and ended up being overwhelmed by her freezing abilities. I personally don't count her as a member considering she was being trained still at the time of her 'death', and had not learned all the lessons Sub-Zero tried to teach her. But that boils down to matter of opinion really.
Also, that was after the clan had been reformed and controlled by Sub-Zero, which is a different clan in some ways than the one run by the Lin Kuei grandmasters that Sub-Zero, Smoke, Sektor and Cyrax were from.

For me she is Lin Kuei member. She even has the blue Lin Kuei costume. 
Maybe she´s the first LK girl/ninja. I think that the old LK masters didn´t want girls to be LK members (for example none of the three cyborgs is a girl).

There's also the theory that she is simply Sub-Zero's long-lost sister, from which there is mention in one of the 16-bit game's instruction manuals, or something to that effect. But it's just a theory, nothing official.

who knows, they might do this though for an excuse to keep Sub in the MK games. They dont have to worry about Scorpion because's he's already dead. It would be interesting to have cyber sub. Not fully robot though, maybe a robotic leg, arm and shit. Just my thoughts.
