it probley wouldent hurt him, because you know how when he pulls his mask off that he is just a skelton, well he is probley one down their too, so it probley just moves throw his bones. so lets just say this, on the game he pulls it from his hip, but on the movie (as you can clearly see on my avter) it comes out of his hand. the movie doesent follow the game story line in its entierty but they still make it stay as close to it as they can.

Dude...you can take teleporting and random fire but NOT a spear. Hello??? He's a spectre, he can take the pain, and with enough force from your muscle tensing up, it is possisble to push something of that porportions out of a slit on the palm. It's making random fireballs that appear out of nowhere and with no ignition that drives me insane... |
AHEM, seems like you need a crash-course in thew world of Chi. Chi is ones own spirit energy, for most people, it manifests itself as fire. The Cryomancer race of Outworld have chi that manifests as Ice, and so on...
As a wise character from a fictional martial arts series once said, "Your fire doesn't come from your muscles, it is from your breath. You breathe in, and the energy enters your body, reaches into your muscles, and emerges as FIRE!"
Since Zombie Liu Kang is dead, he doesn't really have any chi, so he takes it from his victims. You can see this in his 'Dragon Fire' fatality.
As per the Kunai, it doesn't have to be literally real. If you believe that, then you must believe that Jax can just grow to massive sizes at will and $H!T-$T0MP on anything! (I know, sounds stupid, but that's what I call that Fatality: the $H!T-$T0MPER!)

Ah that clears alot up. Thanks alot. But I always wondered what a spector is. And even if he was one, wouldnt that get messy after a while after throwing it out of his arm a million times. I dont think his arm would be in top shape.

A spectre is basically a ghost in "limbo" so to speak. They cannot progress to the afterlife because they have to finish something in this life. Once they accomplish that, they can move on and rest in peace. Also, (at least in Scorpion's case) they can be killed in their spectral form, because they are risking their souls to return and complete their task.

...in most cases a spectre is never allowed to leave the realm he has rebirthed within (a.k.a. never rest in peace)...the only reason Scorpion was sent to Hell was Quan Chi's doing...who broke the rules...though since Scorpion never completed his vendetta he has walked soulless...once he completes his task it seems as though (in this case) he will be given his formal life...in Heaven presumably...

I´m not sure about his afterlife in Heaven. Because we don´t know much about his life before his encounter with Sub-Zero. He could be the same ruthless asassin as Sub-Zero, which would mean that even after completing his task, he would stay in Netherealm. But that all depend on his past, which we don´t know much about

I agree with him....not much is known of the life of Scorpion before dying, one thing we do know is his original name was Hanzo Hahashi. Besides he was in a clan, what happened first did he die first, or was his clan murdered first? Can't remember.

...but besides that...the reason I claimed he would return to his former life in Heaven was the hints in Deception with him being the 'Champion of the Elder Gods' as if if he completes the task for the Elder Gods then he will be sent to Heaven...but if he completed the vendetta...wouldn't you think the Elder Gods would pull some strings and stick him in Heaven? In a world like Mortal Kombat it's probably really empty anyway...

Good point. But then I´m not sure if Heaven could accept someone who made such a deal with Hell (you know, the skull thing instead of his head in exchange for his vendetta). And in advance Scorpion joined Kahn´s* and eventually even Shinnok´s* army which will be probably considered as two fatal SINS in Heaven. The only thing which could save his soul is his job as ´Champion of the Elder Gods´ as you mentioned.
*Even though he left Kahn´s army after encounter with Sub-Zero, we will never know how many people could he kill in Kahn´s name (and eventually even in Shinnok´s name).
Anyway... who would want to ´live´ in Heaven? Hell all the way! In Netherealm, you can (or could in the past) meet such a nice people: Scorpion, Quan Chi, Ashrah, Shinnok, Sareena, Drahmin, Moloch

...perhaps he has commited 'sin' but being the 'Champion of the Elder Gods' I figure is a good cleanser...it makes it seem like he 'found the light' and now will be rewarded for his cause...
...wouldn't want to live in Heaven? A lot of my friends say that though in Bible school we were told "Heaven is the Light which brings you happiness, it is hope, it is PLEASURE"...I always saw Heaven as a world where you could have intercourse at all times...with UNLIMITED pleasure...
...perhaps that's just me...but would you take that chance?

I see thanks, well it was all Quan Chi's fault that Sub-Zero even killed Scorpion. Although Scorpion is pretty cool the way he is, and who wouldn't want to heaven. I mean sure netherrealm is a cool place but not really my style.
