The newest news, if you all don't know already, is that when you create a character, he/she will not be very powerful. You will grow more powerful and be able to buy moves and get stronger and better the more you fight.
I've talked about this with a couple of my friends and some think that it's a great way to make the absolute most of your Created Character while others think it's unfair that you have to work so hard just to make a character you enjoy... how do all of you guys feel? _________________

i think its awesome.ive actualy(NO LIE) thought up ideas like this for my dream mortal kombat game.i even made concept art of my own and i made rain look sorta what he looks like in mka..its kinda scarying me..lol maby Ed Boon was spying on me and my friend when we were making storied up and drawing characters...(i know im a dork lmao) _________________ Highest Fatality: 8: Vicous Fatality

You aren't a dork at all, actually, I have been designing ideas and concept art for a game I plan to make later on(hopefully) since 2001. When Deadly Alliance came out, I found that most of my ideas were used by them. The most noticeable was I had basically Cyrax's fatality without the smashing on the ground part. _________________

I think it's better that people have to earn the special abilities and all that. Not only from the fact it'll keep people interested in re-playing the game more and more, but it makes it more fair that way.
It'd be kind of stupid to just have all the powers available right off the bat. While it'd save time and effort, it wouldn't pose much of a challenge, which is what makes MK such a great game series: the challenge. _________________

I love the idea of working for it. It in the long run makes ou a better player and you can build a true connection to your creation. _________________

Where did you get this info? Just curious and want to make sure it's all official.
