if course i don't own the arcade version i own the snes version. No major differences between the arcade and snes versions. So its legal.

REALLY??? I thought that if you owned the board with roms on it then naturally you had the right to have the rom data backed up to a device (PC for example). No one says ya gotta dump it yerself that I know of...
AND ACTUALLY, The Full set MK3/Umk3 versions rom files in one zip file is about 28,997KB. So you probably have duplicate rom data between the two zips. MK3 has the main graphics, sounds, and music- which eats up most of the space, the umk3 part is an addon set that only has additional code and the added-on character graphics. But even then the sum of yours is over-sized- so ya most likely have some duplicate or uneeded files between the two zips. Peace out

Um, I assume your reasoning is a joke right?
There is no legal connection between console and arcade roms in any way under any circumstance. But hey, every one gets the roms anyway so no one should sweat it. ANd Since midway doesnt think its necessary to release a PC version of MK:DA, I say they can kiss my rom downloadin' butt

MK3 is the meat of the game, but UMK3 is like a patch.

Me? I play MAME32 or ZSNES (rarely nowdays) and I browse the forum to post to something! I need help! Everytime I attempt to download Unreal T., it always stops at Botpack or something, can peterbi explain please?

What exactly do you mean? Download? or Install??
You have the UT cds right? Orginal or "copies"?
usually if you have install problems either you have a scratched or dirty cd or cd drive, or flaky system memory-
Same thing happened on my cousins pc- I had to set his vcache settings in the system.ini file to limit windows file cache and that enabled me to install it.

well, like i said- on my cousins pc I had to limit the ram windows used as file cache- unfortunately winXP doesnt use the same setting and im not sure what setting XP has to do the same thing, but what this means is you probably have flaky ram installed in your PC- the botpack part of install, for some reason, really hits the ram hard and will crash install if theres a memory address issue. Some people report re-seating ram, or re-seating into a different slot or in a different order may help. Or if you have two ram chips, temporarily take the 2nd one out, install game, then put the 2nd back in. BUT!! DONT DO ANYTHING IN YOUR PC IF YOU HAVENT DONE IT BEFORE!!!!
of course you may have something else whack going on, but a memory issue is the most common cause of that install problem. good luck.
