Anyway, i don't think midway would get rid of rain. They've finally made him much more apealing to fans.I think armegadon is just an excuse to get rid of the characters that not a great number of people like, such as stryker and maybe Jax.Midway might search around on the internet to see which characters they should keep. _________________ Who's scorpions best friend?

As sad as it may seem, Rain doesn't have nearly the fan base of characters like Jax, Cage, Sub-Zero, or (arguably) even Ermac. I think if they weren't going to put every character in MK -AR he may not have even made the character roster, sadly. I'm a Rain fan myself but I don't think he has that big (in comparison to other characters) a fan base, hence why he only appeared in UMK3/MKT thus far. _________________

I'm also a fan of Rain.
It's sad he hasn't been in many of the games ... _________________ jocuri cu lupte in arena

I alway liked rain and ermac good moves and a desent story[mistery] thats all that maters to me .

I hope Rain still has the lightning and the stun projectile but I don't think he'll still have his super round house kick with wrap round effect[i loved that ][on vs mode that was excelent for catching your opponent unaware] _________________ Nothing is free! Not even revenge!

E3 may have said this is the last Mortal Kombat game of all, but let's bring this to the gaming industry world. This may not be the last one after all for many reasons. First, look at Tekken, now I know this has nothing to do with Mortal Kombat, but let's just look at it first, game reports said Tekken Tag was the last one and its now up to Tekken 5. Second thing, the gaming industry changes opinions all the time because things are never certain. There are many games that said that the previous game they made was the last one. For example, SEGA went out of business long ago, but they still make Sonic games for all consoles. Think of it that way. Midway and all others who helped with the creation of such a successful game will probably consider that they may not be able to survive without Mortal Kombat in their line-up of games. Do not just go with what E3 has said, or what Ed Boon might have said regarding Mortal Kombat because another might be along the way. Who knows what will happen? _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

Also if you own MKD Kollectors Edition there's an interview on there about the History of MK and the updated one that shows Deception, Boon says when he was asked the future of Mortal Kombat at the end of Deception, he didn't really know what it would be.
The same goes for Armageddon. They could just as easily change their minds and keep a number of characters for the future games. I doubt their minds will be completly set until they see how well Armageddon does. Also, if they do decide to get rid of most, if not all, the characters of this generation, perhaps they'll reconsider once they see a MASSIVE decline in fan base with the next game. _________________

If they weren't unpredictable...the MK world would just be boring...thank you Kombat Kreators... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

I also like Rain. He is one of the characthers that I am most eager to play as since he hasn´t been in many games.
Liked his Lightning Bolt Fatality in MKT. _________________ Kano wins!!
