Post subject: Should TEchno Syndrome be used again? |

If Mortal Kombat 3 ever does get relased should the TEchno Syndrome theme that was used in the first film (and in the sequel to a lesser extent) be used again? If it should, would you prefer for it to be re-done to impose new characters?
I think it should be used agsin because it really does set a mood for fights in my opinion. I don't really car if they re-do it or not.

I liked the original theme. I really don't see a problem with using it again.

I agree, the original Mortal Kombat theme song was a classic and should be reused. Maybe add a bit of a remix to it but other than that, keep it in there.

in my opinion they should keep some of the original techno music but get hit songs that we hear alot that might set a fighting mood but thats just me!

Nah, the techno music set the tone for the Mortal Kombat movies. I liked how they remixed Techno Syndrome for #2, so I say there's a fair shot they could remix it yet again for the new charactors in #3.

Absolutely, it's like the Mission Impossible theme, they could do a new version of the same song. I'm thinking of that song performed by DJ Tiesto or sth like that.

It's an awesome theme.....but as far as techno goes, it feels a bit out-dated. I'd love to hear a remix of it though, spruced up for maximum win.
And obviously, they NEED to keep the "MORTAL KOMBAT" yell!

As the theme song yes, but for fight scenes they should have more of an Asian feel, unless if it's gonna look like the movies before it. Other that that, I think the fight scenes should have the type of music that are in the games.

I agree with the post. I think Techno Syndrome shouldn't be used in fighting scenes, the movie should have a more serious tone and more of an asian feeling. The music from MKI & MKII is the best music, and the movie should have music inspired from those games. My favorite song is the song called "In The Beginning". It'd be wesome if they used that one in the movie.
