Which 'DVD' would that be? The original movie or something?
You Auzzies are in the prehistoric ages of that's the case.  Unless you're referring to a Conquest DVD or something.

Normaly we are average with getting DVD's after other countries, usally a 3 month delay. But older titles like this one, sometimes take ages to get out here, this is probably the worst case for delayed DVD release here. But I would hardly call us "prehistoric" we are the only country in the world to have the MKC DVD's as an official release, so in some ways we are ahead, in others we are behind.
DVD Release List:
1. Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997)
2. Mortal Kombat: Defenders Of The Realm 1-6 (2000)
3. Mortal Kombat Conquest 1-2 (19th October 2005)
4. Mortal Kombat (23rd March 2006)

Defenders Of The Realm was an animated series based loosely on the good guys in mk3. Basically you had a super friends idea in which Liu, Sonya, Jax, Kitana, Stryker & Sub-Zero were a super-hero type team with Nightwolf as the geeky tech-head who stayed at base and ran the computers and Raiden as the mysterious leader who directed the heroes to their adventures and always seemed to skip the fighting himself.
And if I remember correctly, The first MK movie was available on dvd just before MK2 came out on dvd, but was pulled after a VERY limited run. I'm led to believe that it was a liscencing & distribution problem.

...they actually got it a few months ago...check out the dates...and I wouldn't feel bad for them...I wish I had the Conquest and DotR DVDs...

Oh i see, they got it in march. but still the first movie came out in 1995 and its 2006. thats still a long time.
