Post subject: Disply buzz on Ultimate Mortal Kombat III arcade machine |

I have an Ultimate Mortal Kombat III arcade machine, and the display / screen is making a terrible buzzing sound. It is very loud, and not the high pitch sound associated with normal scanning. It almost sounds like a very loud 60Hz AC buzz. I'm wondering what is the cause, and how to fix it.

Sounds like it might be time for a new monitor.

I'd rather not have to buy a new screen. I'm sure it's not the tube going out, so it must be something that can be fixed.

If it's a tube monitor, not am LCD, and it makes buzzing noises when things are displayed, then it is dying.
