The movie is not going to be released any sooner just by making out rumors about it already being filmed.

A veggie burger?
If they base it on Deadly Alliance he'll probably be in it about as much as he was in Dead Or Alive. But would it be wise to base it in Deadly Alliance. The only time Quan Chi has been on TV was MKC and DOTR, he hasn't been introduced in the films yet, its like, the next villain in the film joins, and starts an alliance with his enemy, who they haven't even been enemy's yet in the 2 films. crtainly arent ready for the next film to be based on, they would need to have raiden going mad a quickly, It would be based on DA, maybe because thats the absolute closest to now that they can start off from Anihilation.
Anyway, that wuld be something to worry about if they did actually make the film. I personally don't think it will ever be made.

If I'm not mistaken, it's in production right now. I could be wrong, though. As far as a cast is concerned, they have Christopher Lambert and Chris Casamassa returning for this film. Lambert will play Lord Raiden and Casamassa will play Scorpion. Here's the link:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0293429/. No word on who else is going to star in the movie.

i hope they get the movie done, i heard that the story will be from mk armageddon...

If you can provide the link that says that, then that's believable, but until then, no one knows what the storyline will be. We'll all just have to wait until the movie comes out, if it ever gets finished, that is.
