Of course Japan is popular for Samurais, Ninjas and fighting robots... But has Japan ever seen Mortal Kombat? Or is it too violent... even for their standards. I mean I've been looking all over the web for proof of it in Japan. I've seen a lot of anime that would give Mortal Kombat a run for its money but Has Japan ever had it there?

That's really cool, Vain, I'd like to see that report. I was always a fan of watching blind kombat. _________________

Good thing Japan has an MKD tournament, coz unlike here in where I live MKD is not much famous here. The only tournament fighting games here you'll see here is either SF3, Tekken 4/5,SNK vs. Capcom, Guilty Gear X. That's it. Oh how I wish to compete in an MKD tournament. >< _________________

I'd like to be in a Mario Kart Tourny, jus to see how I stack up against others. Not a Mk tourny though because even though I like it, I would get beaten pityfully! _________________

If you mean that the MK series started there, then you are incorrect. Midway is an American company.

Amazing... If they Had Deception in Japan... they must of had the other games in Japan elsewhere. And what is even more interesting... Maybe that kid must be like Kenshi in order to play like that.

I played a japanese version of Mortal Kombat II released for the Super Famicom. It was called Kyuukyoku Shinken. I didn't know what it was until I played it. I knew it was mortal kombat II when I saw the character select screen. It was the same game except for the awful flaw. THEY CENSORED IT TO A DEGREE!!!! Now, I picked Reptile. I was against Baraka. He got the first attack on me. Reptile shot out green blood. I thought they had given Reptile green blood (like he should have). But... thats where everything went down the drain. I came back and uppercutted him. He too shot green blood!! I was like... wha??? So I plugged up a second controller and pressed start. I had picked everyone and uppercutted each of them. EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER BLED GREEN BLOOD!!!! So then, I knocked Baraka in the acid pit. Green Blood flew everywhere. He fell in the acid, and everything went fine. Until the word FATALITY appeared. Yes. FATALITY was GREEN!!!!
So then I decided to execute a REAL FATALITY on someone, and I did. The screen turned gray and then the fatality happened. Everything went gray. It was censored... I hated it. Believe me or not, but it's true. _________________ YOU HAVE FOUND ME! NOW PROVE YOURSELF! -Reptile
