Yes, this is where the game ends: You defeat Kahn, then Quan Chi appears, picks up the amulet and then laughs. End of story

hmmm,although Quan chi was at the end,Boon said their were going to be every character from mk-mk4..  bummer..i thought mk-sa was going to go from mk2-mk4 throught out the game.

The only non MK2 characters were Kano, Sonya, Goro, Kabal, Ermac and Quan Chi

Yes, you´re right. So... at least Kano wasn´t fightable in MK2 (although there were some rumors...).

Yeah you can fight him in the one + two player story mode, but smiley is tlaking about mk2
