from what i see in the new mk rain looks like a prince,i thought he was a ninja?

I must add to this. THe outift Rain wears is based on the outfits that all shinobi wear. (Shinobi are the most elite ninja)

Plus when he appeared in MKT (UMK3) he was just another palette swap. But now, when MK games are 3D, MK designers try to differ all the former ninjas: Reptile looks like reptile, Smoke is cyborg, Ermac has great new outfit and now even Rain changes his costume

yeah that is what i didnt like about the ninjas they looked way to similer so im glad there starting to throw out some variety with the ninjas.

In my opinion the only ´ninjas´ who had to wear the ninja costume were Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Smoke, because they were part of clan and they had to wear clan´s uniform. (Although it looks silly, that the enemy clans Lin Kuei and Shiray Ryu has the same uniform  ) And Reptile wore the uniform, because he tried to hide his face.
I don´t know, why Rain, Ermac and Noob Saibot (because he´s not Lin Kuei anymore) wore the uniform. (Yeah, I know the creators were lazy, but I didn´t want to say it loud ).

Rain IS a ninja (judging by the outift now, he is a shinobi rank ninja), Noob is still a ninja, even though he is a wriath, an Ermac was just a plate swap.

I have NEVER said that Rain is not ninja. I just said that there is no real reason why he should wear the ninja costume (there is no reference in his story that he should be a member of some clan, he´s just Kahn´s general). I think that if his character would be created today, he wouldn´t be ninja

He wore a ninja outfit, because he is a ninja. It may not have mentioned a clan, but oviously if he is wearing a Shinobi outfit now, then he must belong to on anyways and it will be reviled in MKAR

And I cant find a source to prove my claim that it is a normal shinobi outfit, but it has been my experiments in games, novies, and books that this look is simluar to what a shinobi would wear.

I already know what a shinobi ninja is. My point is, you can't be sure that he will be a shinobi, even though the costume may be designed after one. You just seemed kind of forceful saying that it WILL be revieled in MKAR, that's all.

Of course Rain will also have a second costume his alternate to unlock so who knows maybe they'll give him his ninja looking way for that one which would rock.
