Anyways, Liu Kang will have the zombie form, whether or not it's just an alternate costume. It is shown on one of the trailers where it shows the whole group of characters and you do see Liu Kang as a zombie.

...they just used that because it is his Deception look and they didn't want to create a new look for him so suddenly...we're still not sure if they will change the costumes for characters from Alliance and Deception or not...

i think he will be alive. because when i beat deception whit him it said that when liu started to kick his possed body that a bolt of ligthin hit him and for the first time since death his lungs had felt air. now these may not be the excact words but thats pertty much what it said. that raidans a tricky fellow.

Well, you have to remember that not all the endings are canon. We won't know till post-production... I honestly think he might come back as human (But it might be fun having him as zombie again. Or his second costume could be like a zombie from Resident Evil/BioHazard 2  )

...I wouldn't mind him being a zombie again as well...it was cool...and it's not like he didn't have a regular alternate costume...for the people who have no sense of humor...

I believe he'll come back alive. If you notice his ending says he comes back to life, his 2nd bio says he fights his body, and his alternate costume shows him alive. Scorpion's alternate bio says he was transformed by the elder gods. His alternate costume in my opinion looks like it is better even though it's less bulky as if someone gave him highgrade armor. But maybe you don't understand what I mean. It's simpler to do Sub-Zero. Ok. His alternate bio says he found some armor in the catacombs. His AB also shows him in different armor. Do you see what I mean?

...that's the purpose of most alternate looks...as they reveal or 'predict' the future of that character...or their ending...
...so yes...Liu Kang will most likely be human...though I still consider his zombie look to be better and they should make it an alty. or something...

they won't change it. because liu will gain control of the body but he will still be a zombie. at least that's what i think.
