hasn't this guy supposed to have died like 4 times allready midway could have kept with shinnok for mkda or mkd cause im so sick of him reappearing with clones and he didn't really die and i HATE him!!!
plz tell me what midway should do with his stupid ass

um cause armeggedon stands for bringing every character from shao khan to liu kang and maybe even meat khameleon kintaro etc. new and old and even shinok will be there for a reason it's like ultimate mortal kombat 3 or trilogy and it's the best like that there's people ont hese boards that will be so happy to unlock there favorite character let it be sektor or cyrax or shao khan and play as them. I know i'll be it's been so long since i've even used sektor and cyrax cause i never bought deadly alliance so ill love the fact everycharacter has the chance to be in it you should too.

u think they'll have mk3 to be unlocked in mka like how mkd had mk and mksa has mk2 and possibly mka will have mk3

yah if there going in order mk3 in it would be cool then there next generation could have umk3 and so on. i never got the collectors edition of deception i wish i could of got this game when it first came out so i could of had the collectors but yah.

YOu guys got way off topic, lol. And Cage 11, SHoa Kahn has never died. He was just defeated in MK2-3, wasnt around for 4 and he made a clone of himself that was killed by Quan Chi and Shang Tsung.

The special editions of MKD released had a bonus disc including a lot more character kards and a playable arcade version of MK1. Shaolin Monks featured the arcade version of MK2. It'd be perfect if MK -AR featured MK Trilogy considering this game is basically like MK Trilogy 2, featured every previous character and what not.
As for Shao Kahn's deaths, I'm not exactly certain how he survived MK2 or MK3. My personal opinion is the following:
Once Kahn successfully lured the Earthrealm warriors into Outworld to compete in his own tournament, he began to exact his plan for reviving Sindel. We know that the MK2 endings and even the Shaolin Monks ending didn't happen, since both Kahn and Tsung appear in MK3. Therefore, it is more likely that Kahn was simply defeated, but not killed. OR, his defeat and apparent death was just a show to convince the others he was gone and no longer a threat, allowing him to proceed with the revival of his Queen, Sindel. He does this once everyone returns to Earthrealm and invades, merging Earthrealm and Outworld. When he is defeated by Liu Kang at last, the realms divide once again and Kahn is transported back to Outworld, in a very weakened state. During Shinnok's attempted rule, Kahn resides in Outworld, still recovering and scheming. Kahn later forsees the assault of the Deadly Alliance and thus replaces himself with a cloone. When the Deadly Alliance attack, they kill the clone, as Kahn intended.
Therefore, Kahn never really died. How will he die in MK -AR? We're not even sure if he will. I certainly hope he doesn't, Outworld needs a good ruler, and Kahn is the best. But if he does, it will probably take several warriors to bring him down, or the final boss of MK -AR will kill him.

thanks Amphibious and Vainziler for the info as for the rest of you talk about Shao Kahn nothing else or open a different topic....anyway i just thought it was kind of dumb Shao Kahn was defeated and not killed but Kahn was better than Shinnok and Onaga so i guess he is ok i just flat hate him and his cheat moves and more damage cause he's a boss and all that great stuff

Shao Kahn's far too crafty for to be simply killed. Just look at his past achievements and schemes:
-He successfully poisoned and killed Onaga when he was in power and took complete control of Outworld, ruling for thousands of years.
-He let Kung Lao and Liu Kang put an end to Shang Tsung for him in MK2.
-He survived MK2 and exacted his 10,000 year old plan of invading Earthrealm without winning Mortal Kombat.
-He again survived a loss there (though just barely, he probably only survived because his defeat divided Outworld and Earthrealm and instantly transported him back to Outworld, but badly weakened).
-He fooled the Deadly Alliance into killing his clone while fleeing the scene.
He's not an easy man to kill as you can see. Hence why he was able to rule Outworld for so long without being overthrown or assassinated himself.
