Yeah but all "dead" charachters make a return like Mavado for example whom we saw in Kabal´s alternate bio öying on the ground with a hooksword in his chest. And also Frost, Hsu Hao and many more.

That's the whole point behind Armageddon. All characters thought to have been dead are back for one final showdown against each other, hence the title name. If this is indeed the final game, the creators want to end the series with style. Look at it this way, certain characters like Goro, Shang Tsung and many others have already died, but they wanted to experiment to show what would happen if everyone was resurrected. Remember now that Onaga had the ability to resurrect the dead and possibly even characters already dead for quite some time now.

Maybe he has brought everybody together. But why bring back the dead good guys then? Maybe the Elder Gods are involved?

Remember what Ed Boon said: "No one ever really 'dies' in Mortal Kombat". It seems that Armageddon will finally bring an end to this rule, since they want to kill off specific characters for good. Having said that, I'm sure they'll bring back some of the fan favs in future games once the sales prove to be shitty in MK8 if they have none of them.
I understand their want to be more original and not to repetitive with the character rosters, but characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Kano, Sonya, etc. etc. are the foundation of MK and it would be a mistake to keep them dead for good.
I'm sure they'll find ways to keep some of the classic ones alive. It just doesn't seem like them to ice off everyone or even most of everyone.

True true. They cannot kill off key characthers because they are so deeply involved in the MK storyline so they simply cannot die off.

That is one possibility but Tekken kinda did that already between Tekken 2 and 3.
