If even only one person likes Stryker, then it is good that he is in the game. The ´non-MK´ characters are important. They show us how much we like this game and sometimes are very funny (Cage, Stryker, Kobra...). Everybody likes something else.

Too bad Im am opposite of you VainZiler. And besides Ed Boon ain't gonna get rid of Scorpion just like that.
Back to the topic of why people hate stryker.
Since Armageddon is coming in October not even the hatred of the fans for Stryker is going to stop him from appearing in this game besides. ALL of the MK characters will be in there seeing this will be the final game.

Sonya works for the Special Forces, that you are correct with. But her job is to investigate other realms, most noteably Outworld. One of her original attacks was a pink ring projectile, unlike Stryker who tosses very irritating grenades and fires a cheap-ass gun. We buy MK because we want Fantasy, Stryker was far too.....realistic for the fans. The chances of bumping into a heavy SWAT member on the streets are alot higher than bumping into a ninja who can freeze things at will.

From what ive heard this isnt going to be the final game and i know for a fact Stryker is going to be there cuz ive seen kick ass screenshots (not saying u didnt say hes going to be in mka)

no what shadowninja meant in that term means nothing is gonna stop ed boon even if there's hatred of people on these forums for stryker from missing in the game meaning he'll be there no matter what.

Johnny Cage plays a big role in MK. He was introduced in the 1st MK. He reappeared in MK2. BUT, becuz the midway team only wanted 15 characters in MK3 (and they had already made Cyrax, Sektor, and Stryker) also returning Sonya and Kano, they had to kill off Johnny for this one. They did the same thing with UMK3!! Then trilogy came along and Johnny came back!! On MK4, he was still there, same for MK:Gold. On MKDA, he was still there. Then Deception... Johnny didn't make it cuz he fell under Onaga's control (that bastard!!) On Shaolin Monks, he came back. (not sure if he was playable or not.) And EVERYONE will be back on Armageddon!! well... except for Motaro. Stryker only appeared on MK3, UMK3, and MKT. He could be seen on MK:Deception on Konquest mode. I think he could also be seen in the Krypt. I don't know why everyone hates Stryker. Maybe the fact that he's a riot cop? What?! Ppl say that a riot cop doesn't fit in? Who da thought that a movie star would've made it either?! And look at Sonya and Jax!! LT. Sonya Blade? MAJOR Jackson Briggs? Sounds "police" like to me! And what about the robots? ROBOTS?! now I have nothing against Cyrax, Sektor, and Cyborg Smoke, but c'mon!! ROBOTS??!! And you say Stryker is a character that doesn't fit in?! If he doesn't fit in, then neither do Jax and Sonya!! and they came before Stryker!! I don't know WHY I ranted about the robots. They're just there. besides, I like Human Smoke more. And look at Motaro! A horse man with spiral horns and a long rat tail??!! A cheap shot on 4 legs!! And you thought Kintaro was bad!! Now... after this long rant that ya'll just happened to be so kind as to reading it, tell me... Is Stryker so bad now? ... I rest my case.
also: I like Sonya, Jax, Stryker, Cyrax, Sektor, and Johnny Cage.
I don't really care for Robot Smoke. I HATE Motaro.

Thanks doug for making it clear. Okay just to be clear and that we understand each other, Stryker will be there, though some of us here hate or dislike him, Stryker will BE in Armageddon.

Your rants maybe long and famous- I do not agree for a start Motaro is in MK-A It was in a Ed Boon interview in GI I posted the link here befor but here you go
