I completely agree, in fact...I don't think I've ever agreed with anyone on this site more. I wish Malibu Comics was still publishing MK's story.
Yeah, Tanya's a bitch...but Stryker I think was just...well...unnecessary. His story fits, but everyone could've lived without it. Know what I mean?

Yeah I find that I'm more a fan of Mortal Kombat for its characters, the mythology and plot. While the fighting games are still great fun, I mostly buy them to see what happens to the characters next and where the plot will go.
I have a good number of the comics and I really enjoyed reading them. Of course, there were some parts that were a bit repetitive and cheesy, but still good.

Once again, I completely agree...
I highly doubt it, but does anyone know where they still might sell these comics (most likely ebay)? I only have a few from way back, and I'd love to look up on it.

I'm suprised I didn't ever see any of the MK comics.
I have alot of comics: transformers/xmen/ultimate spiderman/squee/johnny the hoisdel maneck [  at my terible spelling] ect and i never found any mk comics I evan have a LOK Soul Reaver comic. Guted

I have the Goro: Prince of Pain Trilogy, but I want the Bloodwave series...they're owned by Malibu comics (if you've heard of 'em).

Stryker is just plain bad ass. He is one of the only NOMRAL Humans, that is cabible of kicking someones ass. And there aren't many normal humans in the game to begin with. SO just the idea of a normal guy, who was a CHOSEN warrior of RAIDEN to help stop Kahn in MK3-T is a great thing, because it shows that even a normal guy like Stryker, can kick some ass.

Also, in the main story of UMK3, is said that most of the souls Raiden had chosen as warriors who would fight were killed. I'd have to play the game again and read the story, because mkonline doesn't have UMK3's story and is missing some of the text from it in the MK3 one.
My point is though that there were numerous humans who were chosen, but most of them were killed off by Kahn's extermination squads. The fact Stryker was able to survive shows he's not your average police officer. Even the fact he was chosen by Raiden says something about him.

Anyways I hate Stryker playing-wise,even Ed Boon said he was one of the characters from MK3 that were too powerful (like Kabal),when I bought MK:Trilogy I must've been like 11 or sumthin my brother would play as Stryker and get me in a corner and keep throwing those grenades,I hated my brother for that.

When compared to Noob Saibot or Rain in UMK3, Stryker is no where near cheap. Every character has moves which can be abused to the point where it becomes almost impossible to win against, but pros tend to find their ways around it (I am NOT a pro, but I've seen some game and they're rediculous).

Despite the fact that I hate Stryker, I've seen some clips of him in action in Armageddon and I must say he looks like a powerful character. He even has Ermac's "Hua Chuan" Fighting style, meaning im bound to be good as him considering Ermac is one of my best fighters in Deception. So I may soon be converted to being a Stryker fan.....

So Hua Chuan is a confired style? Also, how do you know about the alternite costume. (I have NOT had the computer tiem needed to research these things....)
