Noob Saibot's role in MK:

After being killed at the hands of Scorpion in the Mortal Kombat tournament (MK1), Sub-Zero 5th's soul plunged into the Neatherealm. Having mudered and slain so many without mercy, Sub-Zero transformed into a wraith - a being in hell who is filled with unspeakable evil.

Now that he is a Neatherealm wraith, he is indoctrinated into the Brotherhood of Shadow, to serve the fallen Elder God, Shinnok. He is ordered to spy on the movements of the Earthrealm warriors at this point.

When Shao Kahn hosts the Outworld tournament to lour everyone there, Noob Saibot is there only as an observer, to witness what transpires and how the events with Shao Kahn play out. (MK2)

When Kahn invades Earthrealm through the use of Sindel's rebirth, Noob Saibot is sent to again be an active observer. He originally is there simply to watch, but is then ordered to help Shao Kahn make his way into the Earthrealm. Once Kahn had successfully made it there, his orders changed. He was now ordered to help the Earthrealm warriors defeat Shao Kahn and thus allow Shinnok to be able to take over the realm for himself. (MK3)

With Kahn's failed attempt and Shinnok's ability to return, Noob Saibot now serves the fallen Elder God as a general in his armies. He fights on the side of tyrrany to see Shinnok's succession to power. (MK4)

With the defeat of Shinnok, Noob Saibot is finally master of his own destiny. He was forced to do Quan Chi's biddings to help Shinnok, he served under Shao Kahn for a brief time, the whole time however trying to help Shinnok rise to power. Now he was free to do his own bidding. His choice: to become the ultimate ruler of the Neatherealm. (MKDA)

Now his own leader, Noob Saibot seeks the nanotechnology of the Lin Kuei's prototypes to create his own armies of Cybornetic Neathrealm Oni loyal only to him, to ensure his leadership is never quelled, and to fight the other realms and perhaps take over them as well. He finds Smoke in Shao Kahn's fortress in Outworld, thus obtaining his means to develop Cybornetic Oni. (MKD)

I hope that helps you in some way. Smile

OMG, you are MK-freak, Amphibious BlaBla

You only forgot to say that Noob Saibot ´killed´ Goro during (or before) Deadly Alliance. Wink

i still dont see why noob went to edenia (or was it outworld?) to kill goro.
ive only known noob to be in outworld, earth, and netherrealm.
sorry if this has already been answered but i cant find it nor remember

Noob defeated Goro in Outworld. It happened during the war (Kitana and Goro attacked Shao Kahn in Outworld) Wink

My theory as to why he attacked Goro during the war:

Quote:
While the allied forces of Shokan and Edenia attacked Shao Kahn's armies in Outworld (which were lead by Kano), Noob Saibot fatally wounded Goro from behind. It is unknown as to why he did this, perhaps it was to balance out the armies so a long, drawn out war would wittle their power down for Noob Saibot's eventual invasions.

Considering he no longer works for anyone but himself, this is the scenario I came up with. We know that he's trying to develop an army of cybornetic oni loyal only to him, and we know he's in charge of the Neatherealm. Therefore, I guessed that he'd want to force both Outworld and Edenia's armies to weaken one another so that he could invade both realms with ease. Unfortunatly, Shao Kahn revived Goro shortly afterwards, possible turning the tide of the war in his favour once again.

Cory13: You don´t remember MK3 story? Kahn hired Motaro and his Centaurs and in exchange for their help he allowed them to annihilate all Shokans. That´s why Goro later allied with Kitana and attacked Kahn and hisa forces Wink

Unfortunately Kahn saved Goro´s life and they are allies once again Twisted Evil

You had to beat me to the punch, didn't you? Razz

On this note, you wonder how Kahn's going to manage the Centaurs and Shokan in Armageddon now that the Shokan are back in his favour. BlaBla

Or perhaps Kahn is going to have the Shokan wipe out the Centaurs this time. BlaBla Toss a koin: heads = Shokans, Dragon = Centaurs.

I'm wondering more about what side Sheeva is on as I assumed she betrayed Shao Kahn for what he did to her people and if that was me I wouldn't rejoin with him like Goro has. I'm wondering if Sheeva would rebel against Goro's rule Confused

That's a good point. She may also just have a personal vendetta against Kano for betraying her. I don't know how often Kahn takes servants back that tried to betray him, but perhaps all that time being dead will be seen as enough punishment in his eyes to allow her to serve in his armies once more. Or she'll fight on the side of good guys, or even neutral.

It'll be interesting to see how her story unfolds, since she is one of the few MK characters who has actually died in the storyline and stayed dead for such a long time. MK1 Sub-Zero was back in MK2 as Noob, Mileena came back in UMK3 despite being killed by Kitana in MK2, and she came back again in MKG after Shinnok hired her as a soldier. But Sheeva's been dead (or presumed dead) since MK3.

some were on goros MK-D Bio ar found it
Quote:
Kitana's army allied with my Shokan warriors in an attempt to destroy my old master, Shao Kahn. It was rumored that he has weakening and that our victory was inevitable. During the last battle against Kano's milita, however, I was attacked from behind by a shadow warrior, Noob Saibot. I do not know for how long I lay dying on the battlefield, but when I regained consciousness, I was greeted by the last person I expected to see...

Shao Kahn found me near death upon the battlefield. Though he was not wearing his armor, I recognized his voice it was truly him. He used what little power he had left to revive me. He asked me to join him once again and aid in destroying a rising power in Outworld. In return, he would give the Shokan favored status and banish the Centaurs. I accepted his offer. I placed my royal seal on the disfigured corpse of a fallen Shokan warrior and together we fled into hiding to regain our strenght for the comming battle.

so Motaro could be on Onarga's side or Shinnok's & Sheeva could quite easaly show fales alegents to Kahn untill she gets close and bam!!

I knew about that in Goro's bio, but the fact Motaro is in MK-Armageddon (and so far we have no reason to think he's not on Kahn's side), you wonder how Goro and Motaro are going to fight enemies without fighting one another. Or how Kahn is going to explain to Motaro his people are banished?

Considering Kahn has to deal with the Tarkatans, Edenians and random dissident Outworlders in his war over Outworld, it's likely he'll need both the Shokan AND Centaurs to push his opposition from the realm and ultimatly regain all his control. After that though, I'm sure Kahn will see the Centaurs wiped out.

it be true that our man has a lot on his plate in next chapter of the game and this will probable be the excuse the MK team use to "finish him" off.
wether Motaro is on Kahn's side or not his ending is bound to be facing of against Goro or Kintaro or maybe both. I hope Motaro is alied with Shinnok or Onaga personaly as I don't want fighting amoung the Generals of Kahn's army cuz Centaurs & shokan will never co-op excist not even for a grater curse ie existance

Well the Shokan and Centaurs seemed to do alright together under Shao Kahn's rule up until the time when Shao Kahn appointed the Centaurs as the heads of the extermination squads during the invasion of Earthrealm. Although we don't really know what their history is in Outworld prior to MK3 (other than that they were opposing races), I think it's safe to assume Kahn found some way of having them work together under his thumb.

But now, Kahn needs the Shokan as his allies more than ever, especially since the Edenian/Shokan alliance was the main threat to his rule (next to Onaga which just showed up in MKD). With the Tarkatan under Onaga's rule now as well as his revived mummy army, Shao Kahn's going to need the Shokan back as well as the might of the Centaurs if he wants to maintain his power in Outworld.

Its strange that Motaro has been resurrected as well as Sheeva had killed him before her own death

The only way Kahn could keep the centaurs loyal is by Fear though I get the impression that Kahn have kept the factions (or races) under his control by constantly changing which race he bestows favour on and perhaps removing members who have become dangerous to his rule.
