i say yes becuz i want the new game to have many many many options so it seems free and fun sorta like a gta feel to it.

having the "Choose your Destiny" tower option makes MK nothing like GTA. =/
but I definitely agree with you guys about the lack of fighting in Deception. I often found myself getting to Onaga and then quitting because I just wanted to have the fights, not neccessarily the ending. I think that having this option would make things much more enjoyable for the casual player who just wants to sit down and kick some butts. =)

For those that agree with the Choose Your Destiny being brought back, I honor you. Here's the idea, in MK I, II, DA, and Deception, you basically fight the same batch of characters in the Tournament. I say yes because I'm tired of fighting the same characters every time. Every time I choose Scorpion, Ermac, or any character I am good with, I end up with the same Tournament each time. For the sake of myself playing, I would rather have more options as to which characters you can fight instead of a constant list. We need more options. UP WITH CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY!

Also with the choose your detiny, you could see who you'd be facing, and you could rotate the tower if you wanted different people, but ALSO choose how many you fought. I posted a question for Ed Boon regarding the 'Choose Your Destiny' feature's return for the E3 convention.

Im thinking he did say in that movie interview the latest one they still have one secret surprise that they don't want to say what it is yet in armageddon maybe that surprise might be the return of the choose your destiny type of mode.

For those of you who have watched the 2 new E3 videos provided by TMK, you'll know that the Choose Your Destiny feature is back. First we see a MASSIVE looking Blaze standing on a pyramid, then it zooms back to the pillar with the characters that you fight.
So there you have it - Choose Your Destiny has returned...That or just the pillar looking things have.  I'm sure they'll allow you to pick though for the final product.

That was my first thoght 2
I saw the tower and rejoyced then my british sense of unsertanty stepped up and said to me "maybe this is just the tower like in MKII not the Multi towers like in MK3 and MKT. Oh GOD I HOPE ITS BACK! I'm gunna pop if we don't know soon aghh

I did enjoy the test your might feature, but I would much prefer that they incorperated the spinning podium like in MK4 as well, that would give ou an even wider horizon due to the immense roster.

But i just remembered arcade in deception though sorta was the same lay out as choose your destiny but of course the only thing that was missing in deception is if it was truly choose your destiny youw ould have one being novice one being hard etc stuff like that and in armageddon it doesn't look like that yet but who knows.

Yeah that's basically the point I made near the end of my post. But hopefully TMK will deliver our pleads for is, or even just pose the question asking if it's back or not. That way the MKTeam might remember to throw it in there for the final product.
The MK4 version of 'Choose Your Destiny' was the best because, as bloodyshadow said, you could rotate the column to feature different characters to fight, as well as choose Novice, Moderate, Master I, Master II and Master III, or something to this effect. It wouldn't be a lot of work to put that coding into the game, so I don't see why they wouldn't if they know people want it in there.

"Test your Might"? That was random...
...I want the Novice - Master III thingy back again as well...that was a lot of fun...I liked knowing who I was up against...
