Does anyone know if the fatalities can be performed anywhere on the screen in the new game, or do you have to be in sweep/jump distance again, cause that sucked _________________

Yah i really never liked that you had to do some in a close distance in deception and old school mk games or sweep etc but i got used to it in deception and now the old school games and can pull off some fatalitys but smoke's one i haven't ever did it yet and it's hard for me to do it when doing the right stuff in deception and i want to see his so bad.

I think it was worse in DA/Deception (I don't remember which one had the distance thing now) because you had to go into your 'Fatality' fighting style. This wasn't too bad except for the fact that you could end up far away from your opponent and lock in the stance straight away and by the time you change, walk up them, lock it in again, you don't have time to do the button combo _________________

Yah that's Deception you press l1 then you gotta do the combo fast in the right distance and it'll work for me the easy ones to do is mileena's one of hers and Baraka one of his.

I liked the Deception fatality system. It would be no fun if the fatalities would be easy to perform _________________ DEVELOPER DIARIES

The feeling of satisfaction. That´s why I liked Brutalities in MKT. They were very hard to perform, but the final efect was worth it _________________ DEVELOPER DIARIES

What would be the point in having a fatality that was far away, but u did it up close? That is the reason I see for the distance system from MK Deception. The idea from MKDA where all fatalities just require a button sequence to perform them was ludicrous. For example, Reptile's acid shower or Nitara's blood thirst fatalities were performed at a distance, yet all u had to do was punch in the sequence. Scorpion's spear head was also done from a distance as he moved back. It makes more sense when u move the sweep distance for far fatalities and some at outside sweep range, then for those performed close like Scorpion's beheading in Deception, that is where u perform a fatality up close. I hope that all who read this message better understand about why fatality distance should be necessary. The only thing I didn't like about the distances was the fact that u possibly goofed and hit your opponent and knocked him out instead of performing a fatality. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

I like the system in MKD. There should be at least a little difficulty in punching in the button combination. _________________ Kano wins!!

There still will be difficulty in the fatalities. They said that it's not just like one button hits for the first one, then two for the next, etc. You have to do specific combinations for each fatality, each one getting progressively more difficult, and less time to perform it. _________________

Seems likely. Maybe an input to start the whole sequence and then several commands to choose from maybe. _________________ Kano wins!!
