Ya know, no one here ever liked Rain until after MKA and he was the only ninja that hadnt been revised yet. After MKA it was cool to like Rain but i still dont like him and never will now cuz his new costume sux

I liked Kira,Shunjinko the most out of the new characters but Kobra and Darrius were waste of characters in my opinion. And Tongan Ninja it was umk3 where mk first had rain in a game he was never in mk3.

You serious........... 
Ashrah's outfit was boring and had no tie into the story whatsoever just her crying about her wanting to be a human.
Dairou-Had a decent costume but also had a lame story line and no relation to the story.
Kobra-Simple costume (karate gi) he was a Ken knock-off with borrowed moves and looked alike like Kurt Russel in the 80's,also boring story.
Kira-Boring costume unless you get your rocks off to video characters,lame story she was probaly the worst character in Deception.
Hotaru-Aight costume,borrowed moves aight story,average character.
Darrius-Aight costume,borrowed moves,lame story no relation to the story at all.
Havik-good costume,aight moves,no real point in his story.
Shujinko-Mortal Kombat Pai Mei.
Pretty much all the new characters in Deception had no showing of creativity had lame stories,and had recycled moves..................oh yeah I almost fainted when I saw Sub-Zero with a pony-tail.

Only new characters i hated was kobra and darrius the others i liked ashrah was cool, Hotaru was cool, Havik was sweet and the rest i liked.

If you play UMK3, it says somewhere "Rain can be found in the Graveyard." I can't remember where though. Basically, it's saying that Prince's crap died out and dissappeared.

Truthfully I always welcome new characters into MK as they might not be so good now but they tend to improve in later games

i knew someone would make a negetive comment like this..i thought ashra's story was good cuz she was on a mission to slay demons so she could be human..which i thought was cool..i dont care if they have anything to do with the main story..i like their story.Darious was a rebel which all rebels are badasses.Dairou was cool cuz he was a lone warrior/assassin.Kobra was cool cuz he was just a normal young adult that kicked ass in mortial arts,his story was sweet how he joined the black dragon clan.kira was just cool as a female thug black dragon,dont care that she doesnt have an interesting story.hotaru was just cool cuz he was 'different'.havik was cool cuz not only is he a new character but he also introduced a new realm which he pritty much was in charge of..was a cool chaotic character.Shujinko was cool cuz of his konquest and that he is a lin kuei ninja and i think part of the white lotus...he was cool cuz he learned attacks from about every warrior.
