You can't, it's the arcade version. I was saying it's kind of a trade off: you have unlimited credits but can't adjust the difficulty, whereas in the original version you had a certain number of lives but could adjust it.

Has anybody played Mortal Kombat 4
Thats on Playstation 2.Goro always comes Second last in Arcade,and he is even tougher than Shinnok.

well i dunno... getting close to Motaro would mean that he grabs you, punches you, you fly clear across the screen defenseless, so then he shoots you with a few fireballs, so then he can get you again!!!!! Kintaro was hard, but look at Motaro. His moves are not easily dodged!! Sry Lotus, but I gotta disagree too, but then again, thats just my opinion.

I found that the sub bosses were usually, if not always, harder than the final boss, with the exception of Mortal Kombat Deception when the sub boss was Noob-Smoke and the final boss was Onaga.

If you fight him on easy mode he almost never uses the fireballs, in which case he's basically one of the easiest fighters in the game to beat. I just continually jump-kick him and the odd time (IF he blocks) I get grabbed and punched across the room. Other than that he's quite easy.
As for Kintaro, he jumps up them comes down and stomps on you without warning. He always uses fireballs, regardless of difficulty level. He blocks a lot more frequently and his moves tend to do more damage. On top of that, MK2 didn't feature combos for the characters, so it took longer to defeat Kintaro. As least for MK3/UMK3/MKT you had combos which you could use on Motaro in a difficult situation.
