Post subject: Blaze as the new boss? |

Does anyone else besides myself and Lin Kuei Master that thinks that Blaze will be the new boss of Armageddon? Think about it, throughout MK history, we are told that if you lost at Mortal Kombat, your realm would get merged with that of the victor. Well we know that The 'One' has been controlling people, even Onaga correct? Well with a name like 'The One' it stands to reason that he is trying to merges all the realms into one and be the ruler of the one realm. So it could turn out that Blaze is the one, no? agree, disagree?
Two things though:
1. Lin Kuei Master told me most of this, as my knowledge of MK is rusty
2. If people have alreadt come up with this idea then I appologise

I had the theory that Blaze's mission was to fulfil some destiny and let the One Being assume his form (take over his body basically) in the event that the Kamidogu were not merged. That way he could defeat everyone and merge them himself. However, there's a problem with this theory, the One Being is supposed to be made up of the 6 Kamidogu, meaning he couldn't assume Blaze's form really...Unless he just controlled him, like he persuaded Onaga and others to do his work.

That could also be. But that doesn't explain where he got all this massive power from. All we know from his bio is:

I assume his quest has something to do with the One Being, but I really can't say for certain. It may just be that he wants to rule the realms for himself, and the One Being is persuading him to kill off everyone so he can merge the Komidogu. Or he might know of the One Being's existance, as you said, and try to help him in exchange for power.

He could have just been born with the power, and he initially was on the one's quest. The one then needed his power to guard the dragon's egg, because the one knew he needed Onaga's power to complete his phase of the ones conquering of the realms. When Onaga fulfilled his quest, it is now up to Blaze to carry on the one's work as a corporal being, seeing as how the one can't take physical form

i didnt know that,so the whole onaga thing was just for the one...maby blaze will be the main character instead..and he now wants to be able to choose his own destiny so he turns on the one..and tries to defeat him in mortal kombat

It´s basically Deception recreated for PSP with added characters:
-Goro, Shao Kahn (who apeared in MK:D for Gamecube)
-Kitana, Frost, Jax, Blaze (from MK:DA)
+also new ´Endurance´ mode should be included

This is a valid theory and something I thought about too. But what confuses me is why he would control Blaze now when it would have been better to simply have controlled Onaga completly and merged the Kamidogu. Blaze didn't have them and so what reason would the One Being have for controlling him? Unless Onaga was just a distraction to allow Blaze to obtain his full power and allow him to slay all opposition, including Onaga, thereby being able to successfully merge the Kamidogu.
Just a thought.

Blaze doesn´t draw as much attention to himself as Onaga does. That could also be something worth considering. Onaga has lots of enemies and Blaze really hasn´t gotten any enemies.
