well it might be special lightning effects they used so it's a possibility it can be raiden doing the lightning but they made the lightning greenish tint for the ending mk can do that.

well the thing is the picture that cory posted was small as hell but if you play it and beat deception and it shows that ending u see it way bigger so ill know who it is as soon as i beat arcade mode with liu kang but right now im stuck in konquest mode cause i cant do the most annoying 9 button combo of kenshi's stupid training mode always hated the training mode but not as much as kenshi's training seeing his is the hardest.

Look closely near his eyes, That is defently raidan, and besides hes the only one who shoots ligthing out of his hands. and wheres a hat like that. and the reason the ligthing is green is because thats Liu Kang's soul.

...I saved the image...opened with photoshop...edited out some green...sharpened him...and it's Dark Rayden...without a doubt...storyline wise it fits right in...Rayden slew Shujinko and revived Kang...he's a bad-ass...
