Does anybody think that Mk:Sm should of went in order with the mk timeline and been after deception and u play as kung loa or zombie liu kang or liu's ghost?

I thought Shaolin Monks was pretty good in the MK2 timeline it probaby wouldn't have worked as well if it expanded over more of the games or taken place after Deception

They changed around a lot of things:
1. Jade dieing in MK2
2. Kano dieing in MK2
3. Ermac lurking around MK2
4. Kabal hanging around MK2
5. Quan Chi getting the amulate before MK4
just to name a few

Kabal and Ermac shouldnt be anywhere near the second tourniment,kabal should be a thug in earthrealm and ermac should either be in the netherrealm or not have been created yet

Kabal shouldn't have been in Outworld. While he may have had means to go to Outworld, I find it more likely that this was just a stupid decision to let players use Kabal's hookswords, while going against previous MK storyline.
As for Ermac, he was placed in the warrior shrine, which was seen in MK1, not MK2. This is why it's technically not a problem, as Ermac was seen in Mortal Kombat 1 (sort of, due to the glitch).
Personally, this is how I look at Shaolin Monks with regards to all the mess ups: Whatever happened in the game is canon, UNLESS it goes against anything from the previous MK games (ie Goro not being defeated at all in MK1, Jade's death, Kano's death, Raiden having powers to kill Kahn in Outworld, Liu Kang and Kung Lao being there when the Shaolin were being attacked by Tarkatan hordes, etc etc etc). There are so many mistakes with Shaolin Monks that it would be foolish to accept the whole game as canon, which is why I feel that anything in that game which goes against or overwrites stuff from the previous ones are not official.

And like the movies shaolin monks is also a thing not to beleive and it has tons of false crap in it same with the real mk 1 and mk 2 movies half of the stuff you couldn't beleive.

Actually I thought Shaolin Monks improved the story in some places and Quan Chi already had the amulet at MK2 anyway as Sub-Zero had recovered a very good imitation for Raiden

i made that statement from my knowledge..i know i dont know everything when it comes to mk but u dont have to insult me like others already have
And Quan Chi could have been taking the amulet for his new master Shinnok but i dont remember when Shinnok becomes his master.

-Sub Zero- was probably just having a bad day, but you're right Cory he shouldn't have taken it out on you. Don't worry about it though, while you may not know all there is about MK you still provide some interesting questions and opinions. 
I'll look into this whole amulet business to find out if it was in fact a mistake in Shaolin Monks or not. I'm wondering how the hell Shao Kahn got it in the first place.
