This is like the 'why does every body hate stryker' thread for the new characters in mkd.so why do everyone hate the new characters for mkd,i didnt think they were that bad.

I don´t think everybody hated them. Some of them were lame, some were good...
I like Ashrah, Hotaru, Kira and Shujinko. And I don´t mind the rest of them

i liked ashra,hotaru,kira,shujinko,havik and kobra was 'ok' his story was interesting..some of u say its lame but i dont care

The funny part about Kobra, is that even though he is worthless story-line wise, he's got some fast and powerful moves.

Havik and Kira were the only 2 brand new characters that I liked in this game. That 2 out of 8 brand new characters that are ok...

the weird thing i dont like about kira and kobra is that theres no explaination on how they got their powers..maby they inherited it from a race kinda like the cryomancers.

It's because they both joined the Black Dragon clan, from what I can tell, joining a clan seems to immediately give you special powers...

Look at it this way, no one explained how Johny Cage got his powers (to hurl energy balls and do some weird teleport-floaty-green trailing kick), or where Sonya got her's.
If you want realistic stuff then I don't see why you'd play Mortal Kombat.

...and oh yeah, I like Hotaru too...nice combination of attacks if you get 'em down...
