I wached "MKC final battel" again this weekend and am still shocked and stund by how the hole MK Conquest things ends.
I mean I'm all for Shao Khan kicking ass and winning [make a nice change] as i'm a Khan fan, but it desterbes me by how much ass he kicks with his briliant planing realy puts Khan from MKAni.. to shame.
for all of you that have not seen it Khan has been made extremly edge by enimes that are rallying against him: Reptile/ Shang / Quan Chi /Queen Vorpax and her armies/ Kung Lao / Raiden / Kitana / Sero & Taja.
Khan has a secrate portal located in a hidden city. were the locas wership a God called "Sha Ka" [Shao Khan] to speed this up abit the portal is opend and our hero's are in danger when a Shadow preist emerges.
Raiden frys the dude tell every one to "leve Now" then enters the portal to a limbo like place and comes face to face with Khan. Mean while the shadow preist's are sent to do Khan's dirty work and they Destroy all of the above names one by one. THEY KILL EVERY ONE. the last to Die is Kung Lao & friends [Sero n Taja] they are worried about Raiden and go looking for him [back to the city]
Raiden however does not die, he has a very length chat with Khan . But this is kool Khan ask's Raiden if he gives out the same prep talk he does "KNow your enime and there weakness" Raiden looks worried as he hears the screams of Lao and co.. dieing then starts the fight againest Khan. { the fight is very kool} Raiden beats Khan and is about to FINISH HIM when his powers fail!! Khan finds this very funny {Mhaw HA HA HA}
Then Khan revials his plan to Raiden why they've been chating the Hidden city was transported to Out world. Raiden is powerless and gets his as beeten and carred of to Khans thrown room Were Khan glotes that his plan worked shows Raiden the bits of costumes & things from the Dead Reptile Reptile/ Shang / Quan Chi /Queen Vorpax / Kung Lao / Kitana / Sero & Taja . slaps Raiden around a bit telling him hes a prisnor for ever and it ends.
Now it was Kool to watch but stoyline wise this fucks up every thing even the moveis!
I put this as a topic just cuz i thought some of you who don't have access to these might wanna know how it ends. & also I think It would be Kool if MK-A has an evil ending HA HAH HA HA  feel free to add any coments on your thoughts.

I did not see this coming, considering Kung Lao was supposed to die to Goro. I think what happened was they weren't sure if the show was going to have another season or not, so they made the last episode like an ending, but you know if there was another season Kung Lao and the other 2 would have survived to fight on.
Still, it's great to see the bad guys win, and so masterfully too. All hail Shao Kahn.

There was supposed to be a 2nd season but it got cancelled due to poor ratings

I watched all the episodes when it was on tv.
Never seen that ending coming, made me laugh then v.confused then disappointed. Kinda didnt tie in with anything mk really

Did they know it got canceled before they made the season 1 last episode? If not, you wonder how they would have gotten around all that death.
Speaking of the Conquest ending though, I LOVE what happened to Quan Chi. If I remember correctly, the Shadow Priests killed all his female warriors, then when he tried to teleport away into the ground, they stopped him half way so he was partly stuck in the ground. Then they slashed off his head.  Take that mimey!

They trapped him in Cobalt which seems to be poisonous to Outworld residents (didn't get why it affected Quan Chi as he's from the Netherealm)
The thing is the only people I know definitely died was Reptile and Siann (one of Quan Chi's women)

I did not think Quan Chi origanaly came from netherealm.
i loved the "aparent" death of shang when he starts loosing he drains the shadow preist with the "soul suck" and the preist counters turning the color from green to a dark red. Any one know what that is.?
{in the conquest story lines} shang T'sung is origanly from earth realm and was once raidens student and forght for earthrealm in his first MK turnoment but was then schooled in the darkarts by Shao Khan [the secrate to being IMORTAL ] stealing souls as your own. Then shang switched sides and then fights for out world.
I mentioned this cuz I think it is really a kool idea and is the only one worth adding in to the games.
anyway back on the topic of final battle when Khan is showing raiden the people's belongings of whom he claim to be dead. he pulls out kung lao's trousers [pants] this is all i needed to convince me hes dead. and we nerely see Kitana get sliced up with her own fans. {and we do hear the scream and slash }

It reminded me of a vampiric blood drain you see in some computer games and a few books
I always put Quan Chi in netherrealm as he was originally an Oni Demon which only exist in the Netherealm

I don't think it was ever mentioned where it was Quan Chi came from. His biography in MK4 stated:

I extrapolate that as a free roamer, he wouldn't be limited to the Neatherealm. It just said he's a sorcerer, which aren't limited to birth in that realm. Also, I don't think you can be born in the Neatherealm, you kind of just go there when you die if your soul is corrupt.
Then again, since we're talking about MKC, his background could be totally different, and therefore you can ignore everything I've just said.

I stand corrected. I haven't played Deception in over half a year, so little things like that slip my mind from time to time. Usually stuff from Konquest mode is what I forget because I kind of rushed through it.

But being wrong is no shame. We are forgetful humans. Not noble Edenians nor Evil Onis In order to remember everything about MK you would have to play it every day, 24hrs per day (not so bad idea)
