Post subject: smoke mission 3 |

i am having problems throwing the tarkata into the 3 torture chambers in the smoke mission 3 i have tried everything but when he hits the ledge at the bottom of the spikes its like he twitches as if the game has a glitch and he will fall back down. any help is appreciated

You should try to uppercut your enemy and then perform air throw

I had trouble with this too. You have to keep at it for a while, even when you do the 'uppercut-air throw' technique. But follow smiley98's instructions and keep at it, you'll get it eventually.

Before i start this reply i want everyone to know i am not flamming on anyone just blowing off some steam!
I sat down and played the game all the way through with liu kang and tried it again. I SAT THERE FOR 4 F!#?ING HOURS AND IT WONT WORK!
when i did the air through the tarkata went under the spikes and was on his back. all of a sudden he stands up and moved like the guys that guared the portals (floating like a ghost) and drops down back to where i am. i am just going to give up on the smoke missions. might try to find a game save.

I think you need to buy a new game of Shaolin Monks ^^^^^^ this sounds like a major glitch.

Your first mistake was spending 4 hours trying to do this without a break. When I said keep at it, I meant for like an hour TOPS, then stop trying for a while. It was difficult, yes, but when I found out about the air throw thing, it worked fine for me after a short while.

Here's what it says to do for that part:

This is of course for the X-Box version, if you're using another system, you'll have to uses the buttons that do the same things.
Pictures are provided and all on that link as well if you need them. If it doesn't work, get a friend to try it. If that doesn't work, break the game into tiny pieces. (I'm just joking, don't do that.  )
