I havent been able to see any of the latest Gamespot videos, they wont load on my computer....

What did you all think of the new fatalities shown? I thought it kicked ass  Just hope there are a LOT more options than the ones shown in the demo.

The new fatality system is great. There are so many possibilities how to kill your opponent. MK just evolves with every new instalment

aww... I really liked Puzzle Kombat. it was fun. it's no Tetris (<3!), but it was entertaining. I usually open up my Deception loop with a round of Puzzle Kombat. =) |
It was okay for the first few rounds, but it just started getting annoying after that. I guess if it used the Tetris concept a little more, I would've liked it better.

Puzzle kombat wasn't all that great. I prefered test your sight and test your might as mini games over puzzle kombat. Chess kombat was ok as well but I'm more of a checkers man myself so meh. That and it took a while to finish a whole game if your opponent was slow making moves.
I'm pretty certain this new feature will be a lot bigger than those mini games though. If it's so big they're making us wait until August, then it's obviously gunna be something worth the wait to see.
Also (having finally watched that interview), Meat is a confirmed character! Near the end of the interview, they ask Boon to give away one secret, and Boon mentioned Meat would probably be one of them. I told ya he was a legitimate character. If only he'd have said Khameleon though.

I didn't want meat to be a hidden character, that's just crappy...
...how hard can it be to defeat a huge clump of meat?

If you're tied to a chair and a woman, you'd be suprised. 
Of course, I'm talking about a different 'huge clump of meat'. Considering Meat is more bones and blood, I wouldn't classify him as that. Still, he could be hard to defeat if his bones were made of class 4 armor...

Meat, huge clump of bones, blood, and muscle, who can spit blood in your eyes, and hope you get infected.

He's a Neatherealm Oni who may have potentially existed longer than Sindel, Shao Kahn, or even Shinnok.

You can't live longer than Shinnok...he was an Elder God...one of the first beings, and creator of beings (such as Oni)...

I should rephrase, I meant to say older than Shinnok when he betrayed the Elder Gods and was sent to the Neatherealm.

Mythologies: Sub-Zero was way after Shinnok was sent to the Netherrealm...after millenia Shinnok took over the Netherrealm (with the help of Quan Chi) and then he searched for his medallion...
...but don't sweat, I see what you mean...this "Meat" thing could easily be older than when Shinnok was sent to the Netherrealm...
