Post subject: The New Stage Fatalities - Better than ever! |

For those of you who have watched the 4 videos (downloads provided by the designated dl/links man: Doug), then you'll have seen a couple of the stage fatalities.
They featured the Subway train kill and a new one: this massive roller on a converyer belt. Bacially we see Scorpion get pushed onto the belt and almost crushed. He gets up and tries to run, then trips again and it crushed, his head flies and hits the screen. Then his pieces get crushed over and over by the roller.
 It cracks me up every time. Same with the improved Subway one. Though I think they should add a train horn in there to add more drama to it. Both of these look awesome and make me even more eager to play MK -AR.
What are your thoughts on the revamped Subway and the Roller fatality?

Considering those were like the only two I've seen...I'm expecting a lot (A LOT) from Geddon...
The roller fatality was just awesome...only Scorpion could pull that off so well...
The Subway's a classic...always awesome...(I hope The Pit's back)...but the whole train stage fatality was immediately expected anyway...

I laughed a lot more than I would have just because it WAS Scorpion.

Yeah it was, but I liked how it looks in 3D. The 2D was wasn't as good because it was just plain and sudden. If they add the train horn sound, it'll be perfect. Oh, I'm quite sure we'll see the return of the classic Pit. It was THE map that made MK famous.

Now I really wanna see more vids so I can see the awesome maps...*grr*...but I have to wait for TMK to send back some crap from E3...hurry!

Well today's the 10th, so E3 just began today. Two more days and we'll have a crap load of more stuff to talk about.

I know my mind's gone down hill from the fact I took "I wanna see her in action" in a sexually explicit kind of way. I don't think MK's gunna touch that one.
I'm sure we'll see a render or pic of Jade some time, though I wouldn't get your hopes up for a new look. It seems to me from all the footage I've seen, all the characters in MK Deception will have their Deception costumes only, and characters that were not in it will have new ones.
For example, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Shao Kahn all had their Deception costumes as opposed to new ones such as Rain, Sheeva and Sektor. I think it'd take way to long to design all new costumes for every character when they can just use the Deception ones for those characters featured in that game.

Yeah some of the costumes remain the same as deception but some are deadly alliance looking too.

i havent seen the roller but i have seen Kia kick Goro into the train and it was so brutal and gruesome,cant wait!

They have still about 5 months to complete the game. So maybe they will create some new costumes even for DA/D characters.

Yah the train thing was funny as hell the first time saw scorpion get knocked into it the capaults one was awesome too. And to correct you amph on the costumes sub zero didn't have his deception look it's his deadly alliance one just wanted to clear that up

My fave of the new death traps is another returning MK3 stage
The Bell Tower!!! it looks kool the whole stage i mean not just the death trap.

The Bell Tower and other klassiks are of course welcome, though I think Battle Arena looks pretty awesome, and I have no doubt they'll have some other awesome originals as well...
...I hope they bring back Quan Chi's Fortress, the Prison Arena, and Slaughterhouse from Deception...(those will be the klassiks soon)...
