I have heard a lot of controversy about whether or not Noob saibot and Smoke should continue to be a tag team. I myself believe that this was a terrible idea and many have agreed. People got very ecstatic about the possiblility that, because of the massive roster, they would be seperated. I understand that this was just a quick demo, but as of right now, things are looking quite grim for their separation:

Looking at the lower left a hidden box with two heads can be seen.
Now, with my extensive knowledge of MK, there is no one I can think of that has two heads and so I must come only to this conclusion, unless, of course, it is altered for the final product (hopefully.)

yep thats got to be noob and smoke the shadow on the left looks like it's wareing a ninja mask you can see a bump down the side of his face. {If it was a new 2 headed chap i don't think it would were a ninja mask
but i liked them as team but to be honest i would have preferd them to be seperate

Seperate! It was an interesting concept, though if they're going to have a tag team it should be two *new* characters...we were already used to Smoke and Noob fighting alone...

We have to remember that this is a very early stage of production all things considered. Look at that roster, there's not even half the characters listed. I remember when we saw early screenshots of Deception's roster and how it looked on the final product were quite different.
To be honest I think they'll seperate the 2 because this is the finality (in a sense) for these characters and they're going to want to give each their own ending for the fans. It's really the only fair thing to do.
Also, those 2 heads don't look anything like Noobs or Smokes, so it could be a new tag team (perhaps the 2 brothers from Konquest mode?) or something else. On top of that, the roster will most likely change by the time of finished production, so I'm not too worried about this.

Well, storyline-wise it would only make sense if they were still a team. Even though I wouldn't like it, keeping them together would fit better.

I'd disagree. Hear me out:
Considering this will likely be the last game with most of these characters, I'm going to assume Noob will be one of the ones to be iced. Therefore, the whole story of the cyborg oni won't happen because he's the one leading that. Therefore, it is likely that Smoke, his only ally thus far, will betray him.
Why would he? If you look at some of the Deception endings, we see that there are hints of Smoke still having a soul and not wanting to just blindly follow Noob Saibot. In Ashrah's ending, he malfunctions and chooses not to fight with Noob.
Also, considering Smoke would be forced to kill his once best friend Sub-Zero 6 if he served Noob (which is what happened in Noob-Smoke's ending, obviously not a canon one though), they'll probably have Smoke break away and be his own man once more. Perhaps even he'll be able to loose the shackels of his cyborg body and return to the human he once was.
We'll just have to wait and see though. I won't be as mad if they're a tag team so long as that both have their own 2 fighting styles and weapons, as opposed to them only having 1 style each, forcing you to cycle through them for new moves. And, so long as Smoke gets his own ending as opposed to Noob Saibot.

It was mentioned somewhere (probably MKO) that each character in Armageddon will have only ONE fighting style + weapon style + air kombat. It makes sense, because there are so many characters and not so many fighting styles

Fair enough. In that case, they better not be a tag team!  Smoke deserves his own biography and ending!

yeah they better be by themselves i found the tag thing in deception just stupid but that's only my opinion others might of liked them 2 together but i didn't.

What bothered me the most about the tag-team setup in terms of game play was the shared health bar. Of all the sub bosses there have been in MK, this was without a doubt the easiest. They weren't some huge 4 armed creature, or one that projectiles didn't affect. No, they were 2 regular sized characters sharing a health bar.
If they wanted to make them a kick-ass tag team, they should have their own seperate health bars which show up when you change the character. Why they shared a health bar is beyond me, but I know that it didn't make them a very opposing sub boss.
Mostly though I was gravely disappointed that Smoke was overshadowed by Noob Saibot in the biographies and ending. They basically made Smoke just a blind follower of Noob (except in Ashrah's ending when he chooses not to help him) which I think is shit, because Smoke is by far a better character than Noob, story wise, moves wise, and character appearence wise.

Inputed, and comprehended Amphibious...by far the worst sub-boss I've ever competed against...like I said, I miss Kintaro...
...I wish they weren't putting them together again (I really think they are)...once again, I wish it was a new character they would attempt this on...it's far too risky for two of our most favored characters...

Thank you, *bows*. And yes, I'd like to see the return of intimidating sub bosses, not ones as small as normal characters. Even as a tag team they shared a health bar, so it was shit.

I couldn't agree more. Perhaps that's what the one character select box is, 2 new characters (the 2 brothers from Konquest mode perhaps ). I think it's stupid to keep them paired up, it's not fair to Smoke who is just overshadowed by Noob Saibot.

I'm not as up-to-date as most on Geddon facts...but in case you didn't know, the good brother is Taven, and the bad one is Daegon...
...I like that you can have an evil side Geddon, great idea...
...if they were a tag-team as seperate characters, now that would be cool *crosses fingers*...
