At first we all thought he wasn't evil and just pissed at Shujinko for what Shujinko did but i went into the vault looked at all the pictures i've unlocked so far and there's a raiden concept and it states Evil Raiden so there you have it the one you use and unlock is Evil Raiden and the one who didn't wear black in konquest of course is the good Raiden.

well i dont think he is evil not compleatly anyway not as evil as shang sung (or howeva u spell his name) just very pissed with the amount of times earthrealm get itself into trouble, i bet he feels worthless and whatever he does isnt enough.

Except for the fact that it's a piece of concept art. Concept. It doesn't mean that they went with that particular concept.

raiden is still good but now he kills and destroys threats to earthrealm because shujinko was a retard

I would be pissed too. i mean he has fougth since the beign to procet earthrelam, and then this guy comes and messes it all up. come one if it was me i would have went psycho too.

...well since he looks normal in Geddon we assume his 'dark' side was relinquished...as far we know...

I was actually thinking about this the other day. I think all that happend was he was revived. I haven't come up with any hypothesis about who could have done it or why, but Onaga's heart can revive people and that would explain why there are so many returning characters.
Somone could have killed him, used his heart to revive all of the characters for this insane battle (then revived Onaga, of course.) and now Blaze has to put an end to it.
