I would quickly say that my favorite is the pit 2, but I think it is only because I miss it so much. You know, because they left it out of Trilogy.

I can really relate to that. But it would have taken too much work making every characthers animation when they fall down.

Yeah the music is great, but the classic music in the classic games are very good. Such as Dead Pool.

MK1 Pit has my vote. You just can't beat it's classic quality! And Pit 2 was disappointing, they hit flat ground, it would have been nice if it was something else...The Pit 3 was pretty good too, I like it, but not as much as the first one. I think the Star Bridge in MKT (for the N64) was pretty badass as well, I preferred the night-time background.

It's been years since I've played the N64 version of MKT, but I believe it is either just like the Pit 1 fatality (even though the bridge is designed like MK2's), or it doesn't have the stage fatality enabled on it.

Well, I vote for the first pit. I love the simplicity of a bunch of small spikes impailing your foe.
The best part being that it only required a simple uppercut to activate and not 5 directions followed by a button that MAY work.
I did it all the time when I didn't know any fatalities.
That is probably why I like the deathtraps so much.
