...they definitely should have an original pit design in Geddon...with the bridge and all...as Amphibious said...you could get stuck at the edges and never fall off...
...that reminds me of the bridge level in Killer Instinct...

...but seriously...the bridge from KI Gold would be a good design for the original Pit...though it wouldn't be the same without the Ultimate combo across the entire bridge...
