I'm glad I don't live in Canada... I love the warmth of the summer months and the activities those months entail... well, when I'm not feeling too embarrassed to be seen in a swimsuit. I really like to go swimming, but oddly enough, I don't like natural bodies of water.
but yeah. it's nice and warm here, despite all the rain we've been having. we've probably had like, a week straight of nothing but rain.
welcome to Okinawa. =x _________________ Nikki: your friendly neighborhood moderator. ^_^

I wish I was in Okinawa, the Rain is my favourite weather! Ireland's climate changes alot, one day it could be belting with Rain, the next say its hotter than Hell! The past 3 weeks has been unbearably hot, I'm alot like Amphibious in the sense that I much prefer the cold and I hate the heat. The amount of money im spending on drinks to cool down isnt funny either...... _________________

I love the cold...which doesn't explain why I live in Texas...but I've been thinkin' about movin' to Canada near my father, though I may consider Maine as well (love the climate)...
...it's been rainin' like nuts here as well...we've got the flood warnings popping up...and that's supposed to be at the end of summer!
...Okinawa sounds fun...I've only been to Tokyo though...no place on Earth have I seen more people playing some very strange arcade games...not like our arcade games...more like DDR...but freakier...*shivers*... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

I will cry the day that it rains testicles.
State College is the most random of all places with weather. It could snow, rain, be sunny and have a tornado in the same day. I just don't get it.

You're going to have to run one hell of a long power line if you want to keep playing MK. |
I've done a LOT of research on Greenland. They have internet there and electricity. Trust me. I'd probably live near the capital city (Nuuk, or Godthab, whichever you prefer to call it) where there's plenty of power. My not-so-secret life goal is to build a log cabin for myself up there (I know it'll cost millions, I don't care).
| Quote: | | ...what temperature is it in Ontario Amphibi? I was near there about two weeks ago...felt pretty cool to me... |
It was about 86 degrees fahrenheit for a few days there, 102 if you count the humidity. It's gotten up to 104 fahrenheit (without humidex) in previous summers. For me, that's too much. I like it around 59 fahrenheit (15 celsius). Some days we just happen to have cold fronts though, which is what you may have had when you were here. Or, you're just too used to the heat of the southern US.
I'd LOVE to go to Japan, as there's so much to see there and the culture, food and people are all wonderful. Plus it has all the manga/anime/hentai anyone could ever ask for. And not chiname bootlegged stuff. I also enjoy swimming and stuff, but sometimes excessive heat I just can't stand, especially when there're no bodies of water around to swim in, or no air conditioning...
Noob Saibot5, you and I are cold-lovers all the way (maybe that's why I love Frost so much ). I prefer the cold because you can bundle up as much as you need to, while with the heat, you can only strip so much and even then you're still baking and getting cancer via UV rays. _________________

...so I'm guessing you're a health nut? 59 is wonderful temperature...I wish I lived in a place where it was 50 one day, then 100 the next...everday! So I can feel the cold (and bundle up with some girl) and have a nice tan at the same time! It's one or the other here my friends... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."
