Post subject: Thoughts on the Returning Motaro? |

I have seen videos and inmages of the game and it is loking pretty damn sweet. However I actually have been quite concerned about Motaro? Why, well one he is a huge character, another question is what kinda moves will he have? Will he actually be able to do Air combos? How would he look? What Fatalities other than Decaptitaion like he had in the old school games will he have now?
I have seen his Icon in the game but obvioulsy he is a secret character but I can see him. He is in the far left, second to last row on the bottom.
So Yeah, this is actually, I believe, the Largest character in the game. I am dying to see how he is going to look in his debut 3d model. I still find it wierd that there hasnt been a render image or group pic with him on it in his new look so when will we see him.
Im miss that big ol' Centaur.

In fact Motaro´s shadowed avatar on ´Select screen´ is the only thing we have seen. We don´t know anything more. Only thing we can say is that he won´t be able to fight in air along with other boss characters

actually i think every character including mortaro will do air combos. the bosses air combos won't be long though.

Hmm I can imagine Motaro doing air kombat, he horse kicks your butt to the air and jumps as he unleashes his massive beating on you. Man, I dont like to face him! *flashback appears as SN4 gets his ass kicked manytimes*

I was afraid they would not include Motaro...concerning all the dilemnas perceived...but I'm sure they will, and hopefully he will have all of the same priviledges as the other bosses...if they had more centaurs, such as shokans, then they'd have to create their specific look and styles...it's not as important to update one guy...
...I loved facing him...he got easy to beat once you figured him out, just like all the other classic bosses...

Really? Well then I cant wait. He is by far the only character we all havent seen so its seems, at least to me, a must see. Also like this is basically based on when will we be receiving new media, interviews and all that, when will we here more on the characters and the game?

*does happy dance* I'm glad to hear they're going to send us some Motaro-media...though I'd much rather see some more sub-scorp stuff...along with the other regulars...they've only promoted about a quarter of them...but I want some new renders for my background...

Style would probably be Centaur and some kind of weapon like a pike or spear or so. The other centaurs in mk3 intro had some weapons like that.

A spear would NOT be as cool as a trident...yes, REGULAR centaurs used pikes and spears...but Motaro, in my opinion, should have a trident...

When did Motaro make the cut? From what I understood, Motaro did not make the cut for the final game. It's either that, or I am ill informed from certain people. 
 These are the things I should know and that I want to know.

They never stated they would not include Motaro...it was only a matter of question...
...it was not concluded that Motaro would make the cut until E3's reveal of the character select screen, with one square containing Motaro...

There was also an interview with boon in Game informer ages ago not long after the group wall paper was published. They asked Boon if Motaro was making the cut and Boon replyed with , Of course he is and they were thinking of redoing the group pic.
