You know back in the day, before they had their names changed to "death traps?" The stage fatality existed ever since MK1 and they still live on. The announcer did not call a stage fatality a fatality until MKII however. Going old skool here, which of these stage fatalities is the most gruesome? I voted on the dead pool. There's no blood sport, but hey, you get to see his/her dead lifeless skeleton float on by, and laugh in your friends face for doing it.

Can't go past the pit 1: even tho it doesn't have as much gore as the Prison stage or the Pit 3, It just looks the most grusome....I love the fast fall then the sudden stop...followed by gollons of blood squirting out, with all the heads and bodies around the bottom, it was factastic.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh AHH!

Hehe...I always liked the ]{ombat Tomb's 'spiked ceiling' fatality...I remember first playing it, thinking that he was going to hit the ceiling and come down...that was one of the greatest moments in MK history to me...

It is a slow and painful death if you fall on a spike so maybe your character can grab a bag of popcorn and a pepsi and watch him/her die!! LOL.

I have to agree with TMK here. A lot of the other stage fatalities are instantanious death, while the Pit 1 has you get impaled, then slide down spikes until you'll eventually die.

the pit II for me.
I loved the top view with the character throwing there arms n legs about be for ... Bam N splat.
I also liked the bell tower from MK3 adding more to the usual spikes

aww man! I knew I forgot sumthin!! The Belltower!! The huge 7 floor tower made of terribly weak wood. You fall through 7 weak wooden platforms until you fall on an awfully big spike pit. I'm sure it's an instant death cuz you fall on really tall spikes and there's absolutely no doubt a spike goes through your head. Well, whatever. Since I can't add it, if you vote for the belltower, just say "Belltower" and explain why it's your favorite. Thnx.

The Dead Pool is the coolest yet most scariest fatality. It's pretty gruesome to see your opponent's skeleton. When I got into Mortal Kombat, I remember seeing the Dead Pool fatality and it scared the shit out of me. But one day, I finally forced myself to see it and then went "YEAH I'M CRAZY AHAHAHAHAHA!"

i had to vote for the pit 3. i think it's a very bloody stage fatality. the second on my list is the dead pool because it's fun to see your opponent get their skin burned off.
