thats what i was about to put but then i thougth about it and after kintaro he was easy. i beat him faster than i beat knitaro.

ok...dont hate me or abuse me but....i fount onaga really hard to beat
but the hardest...hmm..shao kahn mk2. i would say UMK3 coz i got the game boy advance port of it but thats just really really hard and a poor port
p.s is there nay point in putting shinok up there?

...some random guy who's only played MKIV's bound to put Shinnok up there...
...and Onaga was kinda tough considering who you were using...such as Sindel in particular...I don't know why it was so hard with her...

He probley didnt break the things so he could start a combo it took me a while to figure that out, and i only did cause he knock me into it.

Oh well mabey its a guy thing. but i beat him whit everybody and it waent that all hard. but i guess that its just harder form some others.

Well, I put Shinnok up there, cuz, regardless of how weak and seriously pathetic he was, he was still the boss of MK4. (now that's logic you can't argue with!)

Shinnok isn't the hardest boss. I always thought Shao Kahn from MK3 was the hardest. Shinnok ain't nothing compared to Shao Kahn. Shinnok's an elder god too. Shao Kahn isn't, but he's way harder. I guess there's just something about the side-scrolling MK's and the 3-D MK's. Big Difference.
When Shao Kahn hits you, you fly CLEAR across the friggin' screen. Shao Kahn can kill you in just four hits. A single fireball from him does more damage than a 6-hit combo!!!! He's also VERY QUICK FOR HIS IMMENSE SIZE!!!!!! To me, he is far by the most powerful MK boss ever to grace MK.
When Shinnok hits you, he just keeps on hitting you. He barely does any damage. Heh... some elder god he is. He'd get beaten by an innocent little puppy with sad eyes. Even a little grain of dirt can kill this guy. I mean, was this guy even worth creating?

The creators of Mortal Kombat had to put him in there for a reason. It's quite funny actually, they were receiving pressure from french citizens and even certain levels of french government, complaining there wasn't enough french culture in the MK games. So, the MKTeam struck a deal that they would put 2 mimes in their next installment, hence you get Shinnok and Quan Chi. 
Shinnok as a final boss was about as sad as Noob-Smoke as a sub-boss (while sharing a single life bar), or Quan Chi and Shang Tsung as seperate fighters in Deadly Alliance for bosses. They weren't a challenge really and it only put bosses like Shang Tsung higher on the pedistal for great bosses.
I think however that Shao Kahn was close in difficulty in MK2 as in MK3, due to the fact there was no combos available in MK2 (except for the rediculous fan-made ones with Kitana). The reason why he was more difficult in MK3 was because he did a LOT less taunting than he did in MK2. He just opened himself up to so many attacks that if you blocked enough, you could easily beat him. This was not the same deal in MK3.

I see. Well, ...heh. The whole Shinnok and Quan Chi thing... Mimes? They may have white makeup (or skin), but they most certainly not mimes. If they were mimes, they wouldn't talk. They talk all the time. Hell, mimes wouldn't fit in in MK. Mimes get hit with pianos and stuff all the time cuz no one really likes them. Even Johnny Cage's movie NINJA MIME sucked (as said in MKDA. Cyrax hates Johnny becuz of this movie) If Quan Chi and Shinnok are mimes, then I'm Reptile.

wellll...shao kahn in mk2. mk3 is my favorite with every aspect of mk ie:levels(belltower, kombat temple, PIT III!), sounds, bi-levels, running, kombos, kung-lao's nasty 6-7 hit kombo...oh im getting off- track. anyway i still have to say MK2 Kahn because he is sooo unforgiving with his shoulder rush, makes his nova spear so long that you can't flip over it and besides, with MK3 Kahn you can often get 4-5 run/uppercuts in a row without payback if your quick. but as for bosses and sub-bosses put together which i kno isn't the question. But as for that i'd have to say kintaro because he likes to throw alot when you uppercut and can easily catch you with his tele-stomp because his arms reach over like half the top of the screen. but then again, thats not the question

Shao Kahn in MK2 was the most difficult boss but not as hard as Kintaro.
In MK3 Shao Kahn was easier thanks to the kombo system.
