You all know, there are so many topics like ´Kobra sucks´ or ´Mavado sucks´ or even ´All new characters suck´. But I´m one of the few people who like the new characters. And I also want to know who´s your favorite newcomer. I created one topic for MK:DA and one for MK:D. I haven´t seen topic like this here before, so I hope you will all write your opinions 
For MK:DA my personal favorite is Li Mei. I liked her much more in MK:D because she was not anymore the naive girl. But she´s still great in MK:DA.
PS: I love her endings 
2nd place: Kenshi
3rd place: Mavado

While this game had a lot of shitty newcomers, it had more good ones than MKD. Here's my list of good newcomers in MKDA:
1st place: Frost - sexy, great story/moves, and a good alternative to Sub-Zero
2nd place: Li Mei - sexy, good moves and reasonable story
3rd place: Nitara - meh story but decent looks and moves
4th place: Blaze - good story

Alliance actually had A LOT of awesome and memorable new comers (excluding Hsu Hao)...making this pretty difficult...I might jump past just three favorites...
5th...Frost...I know she wasn't original...but she was sexy...and in the short-run, that's all that matters...
4th...Mavado makes Kabal look like a male extremity with hooks! I think Mavado should've been somehow configured into Deception 'cause I like him so much...if I wasn't straight, I'd totally do him... 
3rd...Nitara...no one else could pull off sexy vampire that well (except for Salma Hayek in 'From Dusk 'Til Dawn')...
2nd...Blaze...why not?
1st...as easy as lemon creme pie with granola/coconut crust and a whipped cream layer topped with marachino cherries...Kenshi...hell yeah! Though he is an Ermac rip-off...his story-line is bad-ass and I'm glad he's now involved...

MKDA was host to many great new characters. Kenshi being the best. Nothing beats a blind swordsman with telekenisis. Also, Li Mei was a very nice edition, I love her fighting styles, and she was nice in other ways.

I thought Movada was a shitty mistake. They should have just put Kabal in MKDA instead and made more fans happier to see a classic character's return. Also, Kenshi was ok but Ermac's way better IMO. As for Frost, I like her because she's an alternative to Sub-Zero (who I hate more than the other ninjas except Noob Saibot) and because she's sexy and has a good storyline. Hsu Hao was just a piece of shit. He's as shitty as Kobra...well, maybe not, but very close.

I pretty much don't agree with anything you just said Amphibi...except that Hsu Hao and Kobra were the worst of all characters in Alliance and Deception...and that Frost is sexy (no-brainer)...
...and we all know Ermac is better than Kenshi...it's just that Kenshi was a newcomer...hints the purpose of the topic...

At least Hsu Hao had one of the most gruesome fatalities
And I ´love´ Mavado.
1)I have weakness for black-dressed people.
2)His ´ropes´ were original and his fatality was both funny and gruesome.
3)I like his alt. costume

So in other words, you agree with everything I said except for Movado sucking, Kabal replacing him in MKDA, and Frost not a good alternative to Subbie?
I concede that Movada had SOME cool moves, but I think he just cannot compete with the awesomeness that is Kabal. Same with Kenshi to Ermac, there's just no comparison.

I honestly never liked Kabal to begin with...I guess it's his look...though his hooks are okay...I think Mavado makes them look bad-ass... ...*cough* *cough* Kabal sucks! *cough* Mavado rocks! *cough* *cough*

If you will always compare the new characters to the classic characters, then you will never enjoy the newbies. Just give them a break and maybe you´ll find their positive aspects
