...I know it sounds like a noob topic...though I have really been thinkin' about it...and I don't remember a topic discussing it...so blah...
...out of the new costumes we've seen so far...which ones do y'all like most?
I thought Fujin's looked cool...though it's a lot like Rayden's alt. in Deception...
Jarek just looks like crap...
Reiko has a bad-ass look though it's getting too 'Kahnish'...like he really wants to be him...
I like Stryker's 'SWAT' uniform...though how did he get so buff? Wasn't he a big ball of cop before...then all of a sudden he's hardcore SWAT guy...
Sareena looks sexy...though we've seen it way too many times...
Kai looks hardcore...really...he was one of my favorites in MKIV (even though he was kind of a Liu Kang wannabe)...
Sektor just looks the same as the other cyborgs...who cares...
Kintaro's head shrunk...and his 'Sabreteeth' weapons look like crap in my opinion...
Sheeva looks awesome...now she lives up to her old biography...buff and tan...and the hair just makes me laugh...
Shinnok looks like one of the best...he really picked up the 'Elder God' look...instead of the skinny pale guy...
And of course Rain looks like a bad-ass...though I normally don't like the whole 'royalty' look...you can see his stealth and originality...glad to see him in style...

When it comes to costumes like the ones who will return here is my say in this:
Somehow I dont like Sheeva in her new costume, I still prefer her in her old school skimpy red bathingsuit-like outfit.
Stryker, I still see him as the same ol' Cop that he is even though he is in his SWAT outfit masked or unmasked.
Sektor's, head is okay just the way it is, I dont like his alternate look
As for the rest of the returning ones, I have nothing more to say to them.

I agree with you on most of them but Jarek- He looks cool and much more original than in MK4.
+Taven- He looks like bad-ass character. (I´m talking about his costume).
And as I said in another topic: I still hope they could find some time for creating some new alternative costumes even for MK:D/MK:DA characters. (for example one for Dairou, whose alt. costume looked IMO pretty much the same like his primary costume etc.)

I saw Sheeva´s alternate costume and it looks like her old MK3 costume

In fact many new/old MK:A characters don´t look like they looked in the earlier games (Rain, Stryker etc.). So it´s no surprise that Kai and Jarek look differently

Rain and Stryker have made the most impressive changes. Rain wa a simple pallet swap back then, but now he is a truely noticable (in terms of looks) character. And Stryker has lost the 'gangsta cop' look for a more proffesional SWAT outfit. This change makes him stick out more, well done.
