hm, i think im a standard player 
in mk4 im good in trilogy, ah in every mk part im middle good. 
but im mastering moves and fatalities now. next step will be animalities.

BTW New user, but I'll find the FAQ and so on..
Anyhow - I'm not all that grand anymore with the older MK's, though I used to be pretty well trained.
MK4 is another story. I routinely finish it without losing a match, on Ultimate difficulty and Master II tree. (I play 2 vs 2, because otherwise the rounds are too short and not generally as satisfying.)
It's a darn shame that I can't pit my skills against another deadly player (other than one mate that's lost his touch). We also put money on the table over a match, winner takes the pot.

I suck at old ones. The only one I've come close to beating is MK 2 but I got beat by Kintaro 10 times in a row.

I can beat my brother and the whole game with almost every character at the old games but with the new games I can't beat the main game on novice. So I'm pretty good at the old games, and suck at the new ones.

...that's strange...I played the old ones all the time and loved the challenge...the new ones bring me down 'cause of the simplicity...Onaga will never compare to Shao Kahn...and most certaintly not Kintaro...

...well that's not rare...MKI was considered tough to many people...I think it depends on who you use...personally I can't win anything with Cage...I guess that's why I've always hated him...I can barely even get hits off...then again with Rayden I can dominate my opponents like Kurt Russell in Soldier on Hard with my feet...
