i'm going to give this new fatality system a chance. i mean sure it isn't the system we all know and love but maybe we'll love this one more. if it is a flop then we can just wait for the next generation games and maybe they'll fix it then. all i'm saying is that i'm not going to judge this new system until i try it. besides, the mk team might add a personal move for each character on the kreate a fatality.

what is the "new fatality" system about?!
does anyone knows the details?
I hope there will be some animailties in armageddon.
i only saw one in trilogy from cyrax and i want to see more.
(cyrax turned into a shark and ate me Laughing )

1) Ok, you should have some mini fatality moves, which you can perform after ´Finish him/her´. Your fatality can contain max. 10 mini fatalities and the time limit for every next move is shorter and shorter and thus making it harder to perform very long fatality ´combo´. And we all hope that in the final version, every character will have at least one signature mini fatality move.

2) Probably no other finishing moves than fatalities Boring

Well, that sucks because Lui-Kang's animalitly was awesome, I liked that one the most becase of the Dragon, you think since they are bringing back every single charater they would bring back all the finishers too...Well, I guess you have one or the other in such a great game

i really dont like this new fatality system it jus doesnt seem like it will be that much fun Neutral cuz basically all iv seen is the same moves repeated over and over again

Don't judge it too quickly, that was only the demo of it. Like i said before, they might add character specific moves at the tenth step. if they don't change it then i'll be okay with it. fatalities are good but there is still the rest of the game.

i think i hread that they will have their own specific falitally like socrpion would burn someone and then no one else would be able to do that.

...like Total said: each character would have their own 'ender' at the end of a fatality that was specific to them...

...he also said they may have multiple enders for variety...which really makes me like the idea...

Um...I could be wrong about this but didn't they say at E3 that the team was striving for HUNDREDS of different mini-fatalities for the final version? Here's a direct quote from a E3 Preview from Gamaspot:

"While the system was pretty much in place in the demo we played, the team is aiming to create a massive array of moves for players to draw on when performing fatalities that's a far cry from the 40 or so available moves in the demo. Superdiehard fans should also be able to re-create the various classic fatalities by chaining together the right moves."

...and we know there are tons of chained moves you can use to lead to the end but they're not character-specific as everyone can use them...

...we were just worried that each character wouldn't have their own little add-on (eg. Sub=ice Scorp=fire)

Let's consider this, people. If brutalities animalities, and babalities were put into MK Armageddon, then that would be another obstacle for our game creators. We want them to be challenged, but not too much. Twisted Evil We already have the Death Traps, like the ones from MK Deception, but think about this: a brutality, babality and animality for every character? That would be a little too much work for them, considering that there will be over 60 characters in this game. Scorpion For these -alities to be added into MK Armageddon would be ludicrous and completely preposterous. I understand that a lot of old characters are being brought into the 3-D world, but let's just face the facts that the creators already have their hands full in making this game for us fans. They will. I've heard it actually, I believe in the interview with TMK. Characetr specific. Scorpion's "Toasty!" was specifically mentioned.
