Maybe one of the good characters, who will die in Geddon, could be promoted to God for his/her good deeds. I can imagine Kung Lao as God and Guide  |
Maybe. As long as he doesn't change his move set. What if they used a female character? I can't see any of them filing the Guide part except Kitana.

Yes, nobody could replace ´Rayden´, because his official name for now is ´Raiden´

...hate to put a cloud in front of the Sun...but I think Rain's a sure death...even with the fan base I highly doubt he can survive the final bout...

So that technically makes Rain just a cameo right? That's kind of unfair, bringing him back just so he can die...
Also, BlackMetal, your second Signature image runs of a PHP script and that's why it won't work, I would host it on my FTP so that you could use it, but it's an image that TMK uses for the site, so I'm afriad he might get mad if I take it without asking him.
EDIT: What a second, doesn't that make a lot of people on Geddon just a cameo?

1) If I would want to be smart-ass, then I would say that in fact she´s not human.
2) Yes, no human can replace a God. Humans are better. And it´s shame that Shinnok or Onaga haven´t killed all the lazy gods.  (IMO)

...and yes TTR Hates Mittens...pretty much all characters will just be cameos...I don't mind though...I'm not gonna miss most of 'em that much anyway...

My religion is not to be discussed here (even if there would be one ).
I was talking about MK Gods. I think we have discussed it alredy (But I don´t exactly remember if it was with you or with Amphibious).
Look at the Elder Gods. What have they ever done? Ok, they created Mortal Kombat Tournament in order to prevent Shao Kahn from taking the realms. They created the rules. But what have they done when Shao Kahn infringed the rules? Absolutely NOTHING! He returned to Outworld after MK3 and lived hapilly ever after. (Even in the crappy Annihilation was he punished- the Gods removed his immortality... but what has happened in the games? Nothing. And they couldn´t remove his immortality in the games, because he wasn´t immortal.)
I know that´s only another plothole created in MK:DA. I bet we all thought in the MK4 days that Shao Kahn died during the MK3 events and therefore there was no need to punish him (off course there was the confusion around Reiko´s ending...). But then suddenly he appeared in MK:DA intro (I know- it was a clon, but real Shao Kahn were somewhere around) unpunished.
And then in MK:D Raiden killed in his (probably not cannon) ending Shujinko for endangering Earthrealm, although he and the other Gods haven´t do anything to punish Shao Kahn for invading Earth during MK3.
I´m not complaining. I know that´s only another plothole. I´m just stating that the ´Gods´ are lazy or incompetent

...hey...Rayden tried all he could...and we don't know how many Elders are left...
...Shinnok was as powerful as them considering he was one...and from what I can tell...he's more powerful...therefore they couldn't stop him...
...and we all know very well Shao Kahn found a loop-hole just to invade Earth...nothing more...
...Shang Tsung and Quan Chi didn't really invade anything...the Elder Gods didn't seem to care...
...and they tried to get Scorpion to slay Onaga...it's not their fault Scorpion couldn't even beat Shujinko...
