Yes he entered Earth to get back his queen- that was ok. But then he started stealing all the souls, which is against the rules (at least until he has not won the tournament 10 times). I know they couldn´t do anything during the MK3 ´tournament´ but after the menace was gone, they had the right to punish him for his crimes

They made Srorpion their champion only to save their own asses, because they knew that one of Onaga´s objective was to kill them all. They would just shut up if Onaga´s ´only´ goal would be to annihilate all the life on Earthrealm.
Btw. Shinnok and Onaga could form temporary alliance in MK:A and slay all the Elder Gods but Raiden. And so in the future instalments, there would be only Raiden- the only God- or maybe he would have to relinquish his ´godness´ in order to save himself. That would be fine in MK8: Just good warriors vs. evil warriors (+few neutrals) without any ´Gods´  [/quote]

...hey...I like Gods...whether or not they're lazy...the game would be different without them...
...Rayden should not relinquish his title...he should get pissed off in Dark Rayden mode and slay Onaga and Shinnok for wiping out the Elder Gods...though that wouldn't happen...it damn well should...

I loved Dark Raiden the most. I have never used him much in the previous games... but I enjoyed fighting as Raiden in MK:D. I also liked the fallen God Shinnok. So, that means that I don´t like the lazy Gods, but I love pissed Gods. Somebody should make Fujin angry!!!

...all three are of my favorite characters...I'm very glad to see Shinnok and Fujin in their new glory...Shinnok looks awesome...and I hope at least he survives...though Rayden would be best...
...Fujin has always been my favorite of the three and I hope they give him one hell-of-a-blowout...

I'll make him angry. I make Dark Raiden call him a pussy and slap him about for his lack of involvement during MK-da & MK-D.
MY top 5 would be
1] scorpion & subzero : reasons have already been stated.
2] Dark Raiden : alot more potental now hes pissed.
3] Shang Tsung : I love the evil this dude has in all things MK
4] Shao Kahn : he is MK
5] A shaokan warrior not fust who.

5] Reptile-well i think that since he dies or gets emobilized on just about every game its only time that he survives and becomes his own master
4]Scorpion- well hes already dead for starters and 2 i think he just wont die off yet
3]Onaga-well he was the dragon king and i thought he seemed pretty powerful and he was a former emperor so who knows exactly
2]Kung-Lao- reason for this is i think they need a new shaolin monk for a here not old liu Kang. And i think Kung-Lao is strong willed and a pretty good fighter so maybe and hopefully he will be the new Liu Kang
1] Shao Kahn- well hes like the only thing besides a cocroach that can survive a nuclear explosion j/k but hes survived every other "DEATH" so far and i doubt this one will be any different....
theese are just my opinions so please dont get angry if i didnt include someone you wanted

...I agree...I didn't pick Liu Kang for the top 5 because he was getting old and they did need something new...Kai just didn't cut it though Kung Lao would be excellent in my opinion...

well put True Reptile i like the idea that you put reptile on your list, and not just cause he MAY be your favourite character but since he is a character who just keeps getting killed he should stay and serve whatever master he may choose in future mortal kombats.
5)Reptile-because he's Reptile
4)Johnny Cage-because he has somewhat reptile's story of death
3)Scorpion and Sub-Zero-they have made the rivalry and deception in mortal kombat
2)TheNew Black Dragon-Kano should be done with, but i want to know more of Kabal,Kira, Kobra(even though he kinda sucks), and even Jarek
1)Goro-the shokan race should live and i don't Think Kintaro is enough we need the original the first and that is Goro
